I can tell you from a personal experience... my carpel tunnel started developing slowly, and I could manage to fix it by using right stretches. Long story short, the interval between when I had to do that got shorter, until I needed to do it every other day and to a point where I didn't even want to touch the mouse anymore, because of what I knew would happen. So I quickly purchased the Logitech Vertical Mouse... it was between that and the Microsoft Sculpt and then might as well go "all the way"... Again long story short this has totally saved me. That amount of tilt, is apparently enough to elevate the symptoms. Even though truly vertical might in theory be more ideal. (who knows, maybe a mouse you can strap on your hand in the future?)
I use the Logitech ergo mouse for work, which is a very similar style mouse. It took months to get used to, but my wrist no longer hurts. That said, I neglected to take breaks and exercise/stretch my wrists. Might not even need this mouse if I were not an idiot.
An almost completely vertical mouse most definitely is more comfortable than a 45 degree tilted one. For a real ergonomic mouse you should take a look at something like an Evoluent 4 that is almost completely vertical. (stay away from the D because it's completely piano gloss and very sweaty) I have had carpal tunnel syndrome in the past and I can't use a regular mouse for longer periods without complaints. The Evoluent is much more comfortable and better that a 45 degree tilted mouse which is much better than a regular mouse. What has to be said is that the Evoluent is very expensive for the build quality and definitely the sensor is basic and not meant for gaming. I would also recommend the Penclic R3 or D3 mouse which you hold like a fountain pen. Again with only a 1600 dpi sensor not a good choice for gaming. Btw, the R2 model has the scrollwheel in a somewhat awkward position that's why I would advise the R3. At the moment I use an Evoluent 4, a Penclick R2 and a budget Delux M618 mouse, which has about an 60 degree angle, which I use alternately. But none of these mice are really good for gaming. If anyone can tip me for a real ergonomic mouse suitable for gaming,... I'm all ears.
You could try the Trust Gaming GXT 144 Rexx, I don't like the shape and size as much as my cheap vertical mouse but it makes up for it with the sensor.
Got RSI from a game. The solution was to buy a vertical mouse and use that at work and then a gaming mouse at home. Works well, prior to I used the same model of the mouse at work and home to improve accuracy.
Yes yes yes. I have the wired one. Without it, I wouldn't be able to continue gaming at all. Can still snipe with the best of them and now without any pain. Yes it takes time to develop precision with new muscle groups but it'll get there.
I see what you mean in this video it’s not a great choice of song and is abit too jarring I do like music in videos but it has to be the right amount and a song that complements the tone of the video
I think the effect of this mouse also highly depends on the position of the rest of your body. If you sit ergonomically upright with your elbows close to your body it makes a much bigger difference. The way you sit in the video for example your elbows are so far out that you dont have to twist your wrist that much anyway.
This mouse specifically is terrible especially because it's wireless not a very good example of an ergonomic mouse at all. I use one and it's very comfortable for long periods of gameplay and the best part about having one of these is thier customizable parts some even have joy sticks at the top. If you're not sure wether to buy one just ask yourself is your wrist constantly hurting from gaming over very long periods of time this maybe the mouse the for you.
May I ask.. do you have your underarm supported at the same level as your wrist? I mean.. if you don't that makes sense of course. But.. your elbow should be on the desk just like your wrist :) Not hanging partially off or on a arm seat that's al tad bit lower or higher.
Delux have other products, the M625 and M700 are raved about as being able to match the £80 mice, and the specs sheet holds up, they have a 3360 and 3389 respectively.
I've been using the J-Tech Digital Wireless mouse for a good year now and alongside it go through the hand/forearm stretches regularly. I was advised it by the opticians of all places when I was asked about work. For work it's fine, 3x dpi levels which allow for precision CAD work or for zipping around and I use the same mouse for my home desktop setup and honestly it's fine, I don't notice the 'get to speed and stay there' problem you outlined if it exists at all. overall 8/10, comfortable in the hand and the 'forward/backward' buttons are at top and bottom of the left side for thumb which makes for very easy distinction of which you're pressing
What good is it for people that are left-handed, I'll tell you shall I .........NONE. In fact, the choice for people that are left-handed is next to none, and if there is one it is normally way overpriced.
Yes, they are enormously overpriced but for lefthanded users Evoluent has models and I could also recommend a Penclic R3 or D3. Mind you, they are not good for gaming but great for officework or browsing. The high price is unfortunately a given.
This is a very good thread, i think there is a business opportunity for lefties and PC, to make it more how you say, acceptable. im not left handed, So it would take a left handed person who was more familiar with it to invent the lefty pc peripherals. it would be a very good business opportunity. Just imagine. in school, if you got to choose the left handed pc or the right handed pc
I used that for 3 years then gave it to my GF as an ergonomic solution. It's her favorite mouse... ever. Lol Honestly I don't like how 'gamers' bash on vertical mice because they aren't use to it. I mean, obviously there is a learning curve. Since the Zalman I went back to standard mice and Im buying a Zelotes C18 to test out (so I'm going back to a vertical mouse again) the Zelotes just has a gimmick I wanna try with an added joystick on top (where on standard vertical mouse would have their DPI switcher). Huhuhu
Dude , you hold your mouse wrong to begin with. Who holds the mouse in the palm of there hand? You hold your mouse with your fingers, not with your hand.

Buy the gun mouse, its literally vertical

Not sure what others have said but I have a strong distaste for music within videos
I think it’s good when really subtle and fades in/out tastefully. It’s a little too prominent here
BGM IS AN ARTFORM.
Music isn't bad but this is an outro song 😂

While sensors check out, these are not vertical mice. M625 is a Razer clone, probably better than the TMNT laser one.
This mouse is not intended for gamers.
But it's a great productivity mouse for so many reasons.
Pretty unfair review in my opinion.
I couldn’t use a computer without these.

That looks identical to the one I've got! Likely the same OEM
@@TechteamGB did you turn on raw mouse imputs in csgo?
edit: if not ur kinda dum
The twist actually helps a lot with forearm soreness
Now if there was finally a vertical mouse with 12 side buttons like the Razer Naga Trinity... :/

Why dont you invent something, like the backwards keyboard and mouse for lefties, or why dont you just remap keys instead of WASD, use ILKJ
You need a trip to the Leftorium

@@rdCORE And at least in this version, the terms "right" and "left" aren't considered "evil" by the other side!
I'd love a mouse you held and clicked like a hotas. It sounds silly but I think it could work
Do you have that link to the fore arm stretches?
Apologies, meant to add that! ruclips.net/video/EiRC80FJbHU/видео.html
Glorious d fits me like a glove
That sound inappropriate in my mind
wait does the mouse have acceleration or did someone forget to turn it off in settings lol
Ok that's a heavy accent from a British Person! Seriously though thanks this review was very helpful.
I think you got pronation wrong. Nitpicking here but that is ulner deviation (but I cannot spell it).
How is the sensor?
I’d rather 3D print an ergonomic support for a decent mouse.
low latency should make it a gaming mouse. not rgb
You do realize he's just kidding? It's an inside joke with all tech enthusiasts and gamera alike.
u know the point of the saying is that the grain of salt is small
"massive grain of salt"..... oh man
Reminds me of the Zalman FG1000
I used that for 3 years then gave it to my GF as an ergonomic solution. It's her favorite mouse... ever. Lol

@@emilcorotan ive never seen such a radical design, it makes so much sense as guns are designed vertically as well.
I find it impossible to play with these ngl
