- This vlog is about the recent incidents which took place of man-eating by tigers around Bandipur national park. I try to trace those places on the outskirts of bandipur and also hear from the villagers the first hand account of these incidents.

Thanks a lot Kames 🙂 such lovely feedback is very encouraging, thanks for taking the time out to watch the videos and for such kind words...🙂🙏
Nice video, very minutely explained about animal human conflicts happening,, enjoyed the video thoroughly shreyas..🎉
Thanks a lot Vinay 🙏🙂
Nice video. Only when tigers got hurt or becomes old it becomes man eaters. Eye opener for villagers.
Thanks 🙂
Little boy grazing his cattle near the edge of the forest - this is straight out of the books. Our country side has changed very little in the last 70-80 years.
That's true, and there is something nostalgic about it.
……and that’s a good thing.
Continue raising awareness about coexistence and conflict avoidance.
Several years ago a wild elephant strayed into Mysuru outskirts. Substantial coverage followed on the signatures it left in its wake, a trail of property destruction, plus its own ruffage. While the outrage is understandable, how many bipedal individuals respect their territory by not littering, avoid loud party noises, avoid strong perfumes, confusing wildlife olfactory senses, etc.? 🐅🐯👍
Sure sir, and right remember that incident....it's important to preserve what's left of the forests....
Please continue your Keneth Anderson Diaries
Yes, i will.....🙂
Appreciate your efforts to track current man_eaters....eye opener for all of us...
Bold villagers doing their karma despite dangers
Efforts of the forest department to capture the tigress and the difficulties faced...they too are karma yogis
Thanks. Life lesson for citi dwellers...
Thank you, well summarized 🙂
The villagers are making a mess of the road with the crops 🌾🌾🌾
Your videos are always good but these man eater videos are particularly good and interesting
That's good to know, thanks again 🙂🙏
Nice Videos...May be u can visit the Family of people who were killed by Tiger. and try to find out Local people who could give u more information about Man Eater.
Thanks....
Following trails of Kenneth is different matter. What you have done this time is too daring!
Thanks 🙂
Little surprising to know there are many eaters in Bandipur , as far as I know Bandipur , tigers and humans share a nice ecological balance , that’s the only tiger reserve perhaps I know of which have no incidents ..
You should go to humpi really nice place
Hello Shreyas. It's a great vlog. I am a Kiwi writer visiting Nagarahole T.R. in late April/early May. I am hoping to write a piece on the Karnataka tigers eventually. I would very much like to write something on the Bandipur Man-eaters. Maybe we could link up in early May and drive around looking at the scenes of the respective attacks (?) If you are interested then please do get in touch. Sid
Thanks 🙂
Sherpa’s does the local govt pay compensation to cattle that are killed also do the family of the unfortunate woman get compensated as well "Pretty scary place to live 😮😢😊
Yes, cattle loss is compensated and family is paid compensation....in case human life is lost....
Kudos to you Shreyas 🤗. Yeah, awareness is less among villagers, they must refrain going inside the forest. This issue is widely there throughout India.
Agree. Thanks 🙂
Great Vlog Sreyas. PLease be careful walking near the forest areas. You are a brave guy !
Thank you for the concern 🙂🙏 I try to be careful....
ur enthusiasm to check out wildlife shows of.. well done S.R..
Thanks 🙂
You should stop giving sermons to villagers. The villagers are the true stakeholders of these forests and they have been grazing their cattle and interacting with tigers and other wildlife for generations. It is only in the last few years that man-eating has been reported but that has been because of the increase in tiger densities and resultant numbers in recent years and the spillover effects obviously results in some of them straying into human habitats and the resultant human deaths. Also you should be aware that these villages have existed for hundreds of years and these people as stakeholders have protected the forests and wildlife all along. Social media should be used wisely to give correct information and not sensationalise issues for attracting more subscribers and we see a lot of this Nonsense on RUclips by half baked arm chair wildlife activists dishing out utter lies and falsehood for attracting eyeballs. This is highly condemnable and these rascals should be hauled on the coals. You seem to be a sensible guy and hope your views will be balanced and nuanced. You should talk to genuine wildlife scientists like Ullas Karanth, Sukumar and others so as to arrive at a holistic picture of the conflict that would be truly appreciated.
Sorry, My intention was not to give sermons to villagers. I went on a journey open minded and just looking for information. Of course I know that villagers are stakeholders in wildlife conservation. Also, i have been associated with wildlife and related activities and I do have some knowledge on the ground reality. But when you are a stakeholder you have certain responsibilities as well. Maneating has been there for 100's of years, when tigers were abundant, just that in those days message wouldn't spread as easily. And btw, I would like to clarify that i haven't tried to use any falsehood to attract viewers on RUclips. Throughout the vlog i have just tried following up on the story, and nothing else, but if my 1 or 2 sentences made you write in such hate, i don't know what else to say. It's like pinpointing stuff.
I didn't Shreyas giving any sermons. He was just hoping for an idealistic world where people don't venture into the jungle. Nothing wrong with that. Didn't deserve such nasty comments.
Time to get a Thar Anna..you are venturing more and more into the wilderness
Yes Rahul, sometime in the distant future need to plan on a 4wd vehicle.
Great exploration!! Thank you for throwing light on this issue that too in the forest location.
Thanks 🙂🙏
Me being a big fan of kenneth Anderson, this place fascinates me
Good to know 🙂
Sherays are there sufficient prey for the carnivours in the forest that they don’t need to come in the cattle grazing areas in the villages so there is no conflict"…
😢
Yes Geoff, there is enough prey in Bandipur.
Being watching your videos, really love your passion for wild life, venturing into the remote areas closer to the forest interacting with people understanding the situation, you just recreate the incident which took place. So well narrated and very exciting sir, you have a complete 360 degree view on wild life :)
Thanks a lot, and yes it was adventurous following up on these incidents, and shows the challenges of villagers and wildlife trying to make a living on the edge of the forest.
Thanks for all your efforts in bringing this video to us ..such places under the shadow of maneaters are normally not visited ,and has an element of risk too , particularly in the twilight hours .
Thank you 🙂
Very Very good wildlife investigative vlogs and maybe this is first such vlog. And also with a message to villagers living near the forest. Really appericiable video.
