For a young man you possess an incredible catalog of music knowledge and history like I've never seen by such a young person. I marvel at the well informed tutorials you post. Not only are you a gifted instructor but an amazing historian as well. It's no wonder you have so many views and so many followers. Every lesson perfectly laid out in an intelligent and comprehensive style that makes you the best instructor/historian on RUclips. Thank you from all of us 🇺🇸 to you Rob for all the good teachings. 👍 Well done.
I have been following many guitar channels , but this one , oh boy! He is one of a kind , he dissects every beat and measure for us. Thank you , we the budding guitarists are lucky to have you!😇
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it. I can hit the notes well enough, but I definitely don’t have the stamina to sing that way for more than one take haha, it’s a killer.
Hi, so glad I found your guitar lesson video. As you know there are several people doing these video lessons on RUclips and I wanted to let you know that yours are terrific. Excellent pacing for us novice to intermediate skill level players, clear and concise explanations and close up video while you are playing. The chords, tabs and lyrics are very helpful as well. Thank you and please keep, them coming, especially these oldies since I am one as well!
Hi Came here just for the opening chord voicings .. I've been playing it for years just using A shape bars but it doesn't sound quite the same not that we really aim to recreate songs note for note. It's interesting to note that all those early rock and roll players were mostly very skilful jazz players so basic R&R was very interesting as they could add a lot more to simple chords and solos.
Hey Pete, I also used the A shape chords initially, but you’re right, they don’t sound true to the original song. Yes, clearly these were high level players with a lot of tools to work with.
@@swiftlessons Yes, Rock and Roll is great! I like your blues lessons so much. Can you show how to use a blues runs in any song or do lesson for next blues song? Something like Folsom Prison Blues. That was the best lesson ever!👌
Ever thought of dropping an album with covers? It would be a blessing to my ears. I can't say what's better, your singing or your teaching. Both great.
Love all your lessons but Elvis and Cash the most . I love your Dynamics. I am curious why you reference the 2 chords on the verse as D# and E? With the 1/2 step lowering should they not be B and C?
Hey Man. You and your lessons are just AWESOME! It's so easy for me to learn some Elvis-The King-hits. Just a small request man. Can you do another Elvis number? Its called 'I GOT LUCKY'. Thanks Man :)
The best Bar Cord is sitting at the bar using your fingers to hold the drink; other than that...not too easy way to go. The E string rings flat...my fingers aren't that flat!
Rob what can I do to improve with making the bar chord in the Cmaj configuration. This is a challenge for me especially if I try to move up and down the fret board

You have hell of a voice
the position of the powerchord depends on your voice or on your
taste I think, isn't it?
