Thanks Marcus! This one is awesome. It'll take a few weeks for me to finish and I'm waiting on some Tamiya TS-14 paint and primer and that won't be here for another week.
I’m excited for you buddy! This is an extremely awesome bug build! I really like this kit! I remember seeing this at my old local hobby store years ago! Very awesome wheels too! I’m sure with the new age electronics and brushless set ups your gonna put into it, will make it be an impressive little runner! I’m excited to see it run Ryan! I’m sure you’ll make it a winner!👊🏼🤙🏽💥Have fun brother!
Thanks Robby! So much cheaper to build these now with transmitters only $30-40 compared to a minimum $100 back in 1993. Throw in a cheap brushless motor and esc combo for $40 and a good servo for $15 end you are looking at everything well under $300. I have a dumoRC and a TX/RX out of my Maximus and I already had a ball bearings and a brushless motor kit so all I had to purchase was a servo so I'm in this for under $200. Thanks for watching!!
@@RDsRCReviews it all makes total sense to me! You got all your 🦆’s in a row brother. Other than WPL trucks, I’ve never built any Rc kits. Seems like fun though👍🏻
Are your also a Cardinal's fan? You stand also from St Louis??? I live just across the river. I assumed you knew where I was located. I've lived in the STL area my entire life.
@@gdhall5311 that's awesome Greg! I just no clue!! I'm over in Waterloo. Did you see when I flew over the Monroe county fairgrounds next to my house? Do you happen to know Warren "Butch" Davis? I haven't talked to Warren in a few years but he has a lot of drones. We met because we both had the CX-20. I think Warren is a chef at the casino queen. We need to go fly together sometime. We all got covid though but I'm fine. None of us have more than a minor cold.
That is so cool! I look forward to your completed project! Nice one Ryan!

That Blitzer Beetle kit looks like it will be a fun build, I look forward to see it running Ryan
thanks David! I hope you get one of these Tamiya kits soon!
So cool. I had the original Tamiya Hornet. Fun times in the 1980s.
Yeah, loved building these as a teen. Lots of nostalgia. At least now I can do it right and try to do a good job on the paint job. Lol
@@RDsRCReviews Good one. I had the same issue. I might try painting a body like old times. Hopefully with better results. Good luck with your build!
@@fsugrad03 thanks!!

That looks awesome Ryan, looking forward to seeing it in action 👍💯
Thanks so much Dan! I can't wait to get to built!!!
Very nice project to work on Ryan, looking forward to seeing it complete. BTW, I see that you are wearing my city's baseball team colors.

@@RDsRCReviews No, I wasn't sure of where you lived and yes I am a Cardinal fan.

@@RDsRCReviews I live in North St. Louis, county off of highway 270.

Cool that you can build it yourself and possibly modify it
Yep that's why I love these kits and I'm going to upgrade it to brushless and add metal bearings.
