Just got this and took a stroll around the front yard. Works very well so far and I feel excited about the future with this training tool. Training a service dog isn’t always easy but with tools like this it’s much better.
Works great for my lab she has some manners but still has a bit of pull to her so it’s totally gone now with this harness. Thanks for not ripping me off I love it and I love that it’s not ugly
I have an American Bulldog who just turned 1 year. He was pulling me like crazy when he became mature and started to notice the female sent on our walks. I used a pinch collar but felt it was kind of cruel to my buddy, and I don't want to harm him ever. I bought one of these harness's and it works great, he now walks gently most of our walk, he still wants to pull a bit, but over all, the walk was pretty much stress free for me for once. He is 125 lbs and I am a disabled vet with serious spinal injury's that cause me pain when I walk him, but now I can make it all the way around the long block in my neighborhood using this harness. This has allowed me to enjoy my dog a lot more during our 5 walks a day. Thank you for such a nice product that won't harm my best friend.
Farley Boy same, we bought one for our 3 month old labrador and he now walks either beside or behind us. He only pulls now when he sees another dog or a person on a walk but we are trying to discourage that.
I bought one harness today to try on one of my dogs. I put it on as the instructions indicated that were only on the packaging. It worked, but only after my curiosity to check out the website did I see that I needed to tighten the leash attachment cord. Yes, better instruction is needed on the package.
just bought a harness for my min pin which he is 2 years old and always pulls no matter what. I will give another review once I have walked him. Hopefully all walks well.
Just bought one and put it on my 110 pound Rottweiler. He did not care for it. It made him angry as hell! And wasn’t discouraged from pulling at all. He just focused on trying to take it off
Hi Sporn. I do love the mesh version so much. It's been a godsend for a minpin we have. if someone already knows how to train a dog it is pretty idiot proof. BUT...there is a really essential part of the instructions I need help with. My first one of these was for a tiny dog, and the mash panel only really fit in a certain place on the dog. Now that I'm trying to fit a fat GSD it's a problem. Your photos show the mesh panel sitting in several locations and I can't find any remarks anywhere about where exactly that panel should sit on the dogs chest. Should it be slightly under the legs or up closer to the neck? For those who are not having this harness work, you need to figure out what your doing wrong. Personally I can't imagine it not working on every dog. I suggest maybe posting a video of you using it to show how it's not working for you on RUclips then putting a link in this section. I'm sure folks would be happy to offer advice to fix what your doing wrong. I find the method of stopping each time they pull to be highly effective along with this harness. It's takes imcredible patience at first but it's also the laziest way to fix it. I've got a GSD foster that arrived with such an existing pulling problem her trachea is already starting collapsing signs at 3yrs old. By combining the harness and that method I expect to have her pulling corrected fairly quickly. I am going to try to video the process too.
I tried one for one of my dogs, a real “puller”. He’s about 40lbs. It’s very obviously a comfortable harness. I can tell he likes the feel of it...BUT it does nothing to disengage his hind end, which is where the strength or power comes from...I saw this before I even bought it, but decided to give it a try anyway coz it looked so comfy. If this review showed a reactionary dog suddenly bolting after a bicyclist, rabbit or dog or lunging at another person, it would not impress. The only real no pull harnesses attach the leash in front of the chest. They “disengage” the hind end...horse trainees know all about this. Head harnesses work too, but i know a lady who tried one, her dog isn’t all that bright, he bolted & kept yanking/pulling like crazy while she held on & he injured his neck. The best option is to train the dog properly, & if u can’t be consistent & train daily, then a pro trainer is needed. Fees vary, but they ain’t cheap...rightly so. Good luck all.
Just bought 2 for our 7 month pups. They were choking themselves when walking with the regular collar. This harness has reduced pulling to almost nothing, seldom do you find a product that works as advertised.
We own a DOGO, she weights 50 lbs and is 16 weeks old. We bought a harness with this brand name and it worked great. However the clip broke after 6 weeks. Yes we know how to put it on her and walk her. We did not repeat did not or have not taken the harness off multiple times so as to weaken the clip. We have had plenty of pets allowed lasting over 12 years old. Some up to 19. Beware of the clip part on this product. If you look at the part that clips into the part that keeps it together you will see how things the bottom part is. But like I said it lasted 6 or so weeks. Having taken it off only a small number of times. She actually wants it on her. But I'll try another one hopefully it will last longer.
This thing still had my dog pulling and choking herself. I have a doberman pincher I rescued it's 1 1/2 years old very high energy and prey drive. Can't focus on anything once out the gate. If ur dog is like that this will not work. I like how cheap it was but now I know why. U get what u pay for
I just received one today in mail order from Chewy. The instructions are still not clear and thorough. I'm happy to have found this video with useful instructions. Just tested it out on my foster lab mix. So far, so good. The real test will be when he sees another dog out on a walk.
Lol this is not my dog proof, this harness actually made her pulling worse and she broke it by pulling actually. And backed out of it. Now she has a martingale collar and a head halter. And yes everything was set correctly.
This thing is so annoying to put on, it is simple enough in theory but it gets twisted and tangled very easily. It a also doesn't feel very heavy duty. The straps are very narrow and it doesn't feel secure with a big dog.
This only stops the dog from pulling because it is highly aversive. Training a dog would be a better and kinder idea. And then use a harness with a proper fit.
Hey Henry! Thank you for the feedback. We're sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. We do have 3 alternative style, Non-Pulling Harnesses, that have even more pull control than this Mesh. This Mesh is for light-moderate pullers. If you have a dog that pulls harder, we recommend one of the following: Original Sporn Halter, Sporn Head Control Halter or our new Ultimate Control Harness.

After first use, I'd estimate 80% improvement correcting lease pull & expect it will continue to improve
Just purchased this from Chewy.com ..... hopefully it can save me from flying down the street by my Frenchie!!!
Lol!

I just bought this for my dog & I'm worried with the easy on, easy off feature & no clips that my dog will get out of it?
Is it suggest to use this halter all the time or only for walks? Does anyone know? Thanks.
This harness is great. My wife can now walk the 75 lb Aussie with no problem.
Thank you for the feedback! I also walk my 60 and 70 pounds Aussies with this Mesh Harness. -Britt

Any luck?
Old video but that dog is so cute 😍🐶

Thanks for the instructional video, the packaging instructions are not user friendly. Need someone who knows how to write a W.I.
Thank you for the feedback! We are working on new instructional manuals, and updated instructional videos on all products for 2017/2018.

Do you have any for the car that the dog can't slip out of? My boy takes his off like a jumper :(
Unfortunately, we do not manufacture any car safe harnesses at this time! We might have one in the works though :)

Does not work my puppy still pulls like crazy
Ellie Mae you need to train them as well we have a three month old german pit mix and he pulls like crazy too! They just need some training
I have a yorkie and he pulls like a Husky in 4 wheel drive, the harness fit perfectly, but it doesn’t stop the pulling problem, it didn’t work for me.

Buy at petssupermart.com/gb/dogs-collars-amp-leashes/specials/sporn-non-pull-harness-stops-even-the-hardest-pullers-instantly/art_c1213_a658391
Got a German Short Hair...did not make a bit of difference...total waste of money as far as I am concerned
