Lots of folks talk about their good experience with the product and don't mention how outstanding the video is. Really excellent-lucid, well organized and presented articulately. I am spatially challenged and every time I picked up this harness to put on my dog, I struggled until finally getting it on. Someone should make a video of that and post it on youtube. This video made it so clear and easy, I truly felt like a moron. Thanks for your help.
I rescued a husky puppy about two months ago. She is estimated to be about a year old, and was in terrible conditions. I doubt she had an actual owner, and if she did, then they probably just kept her tied up outside (she walks in circles constantly which makes me think she was maybe tied to a pole or tree). Basically, I really doubt she was trained. In the short time I've had her, she's learned all the basic commands and tricks, each in under a week. She is a very smart dog, but she is HYPER. The hardest things for her to learn have been not jumping on people and not pulling on the leash. At first, not only did she pull, but she walked in circles instead of in a straight line. This caused me to get a regular back-clipping harness and an extremely short leash so she didnt have space to leave my side. This somewhat worked, but the pulling was still consistent. The harness had a front clip as well, but it was a little big on her so it would pull away from her chest whenever I did that. I found the Easy Walk harness, and it seemed to immediately work. Not perfectly, but I saw a huge change. I have been trying to keep her at my side with treats, but most of the time she is so excited to be on a walk that she doesnt care about treats and so she keeps pulling. She is 31lbs and gaining (was malnourished and only 22lbs when I found her) and I got a size medium. It fits her well with all the straps adjusted to their maximum. NOW, the main issue I have with this is that she still pulls slightly, causing the chest straps to pull towards me, loosen and sag. I figured this happens because the material is a satiny, almost slippery nylon. This causes the buckle to loosen with any sort of slight movement/pulling. This only happens on the chest strap, though. I've found a way to fix that. If you have basic sewing skills, you can just sew a piece of decorative ribbon along those straps where the buckle will be touching. You might even get away with just gluing it on. Make sure it is not a satiny ribbon. This makes the buckle have something better to grip to. The ribbon I used was slightly more narrow than the strap, but it worked really well regardless and I noticed it does not loosen whatsoever. The harness I got was black because it was the only one in stock so the ribbon adds a bit of flare. If you have this same issue, please try this out!
I have been trying for 3 years now to break my dogs pulling habits. I fitted it, and i appreciate that you guys give VERY detailed directions. We went outside and he took to it instantly and didnt pull. I was shocked, but he did great with it. And literally anything new makes him scared and anxious at first usually so... this was a first. He was always gagging himself his pulling was so bad, and this fixed that pretty much instantly. He seemed to walk more confidently. His only complaint was that it attaches in the front, that has been the hardest for him to get used to, but he is still overall doing amazing!
My first experience with the Easy Walk Harness was amazing! For the first time my 90 pound dog didn't pull at all. He didn't even seem to have a desire to pull. I'll come back and post an update in a week or so and let you know if the first day was fluke but I don't think so. I'm glad I tried this before resorting to the pinch collars.
I have a rescue chihuahua who just turned 4. We have had her since she was two. I walk her 3 to 4 times a day. She can't tolerate other dogs. This morning she got out of her regular harness and chased after another dog. I was mortified and felt bad for the other dog and the owner. When we got home I retrieved her PetSafe harness that I had bought about a year ago and never used. I placed it on her and fit her according to instructions. When we went out at 3:00 PM I could not believe the difference. I was in more control and she actually listened to me. The front ring is the magic. Her other harness had the ring at her neck. I can tell she is not thrilled with this new harness, but it gives me more confidence that I will had a pup who is obedient. Thanks PetSafe.
I rescued a red nose pit walking down a 4 lane street by himself and it was a strong-man-truck-pulling-training program just walking the 60 lbs of muscle, Magnum. This harness improved the walking experience 80 pr cnt .. .instantaneously! Each subsequent walk has improved slightly. Close to magic. I do struggle immensely with putting the harness on....almost every time. I find it dizzyingly difficult to get the straps to lay in the correct position. Don't hesitate.......buy this thing. It will change your life.
Honestly the best harness I’ve ever used. My dog is large and pretty strong (german shepherd husky mix) and other harnesses don’t work well but this makes it so easy to walk him. Highly recommend
I picked one of these up from Petco yesterday for my 5 mo old rescue pitty who'd had little to no leash training. It was a total game changer!! Worked for us the first time like magic!! It's given me the slight upper hand to keep this wild child focused on me, not what's going on outside.
Took me some time to get this right. This is what I had to do. Thumb rule, make sure to get both the rings at the place where they say, behind the legs, even after you doing all the elongating or reducing the shoulder strap. Your go to strap is the shoulder strap, everything else will automatically fit in place, once you follow this rule.
Can you explain more? When I loose. The shoulder straps so the o rings are behind the legs the strap is too loose. When I tighten it it makes the Improper fit with the T and not a straight line. Chest strap also hangs down below shoulders. I have a 10month golden retriever and his chest is still narrow.
Thank you so much for not only this g eat and very helpful video and instructions, but for a truly outstanding product! I have an 11 month old Bloodhound, Duke, who is right around 145-150 lbs. Ever since I brought Duke home when he was only 8 1/2 weeks and 19.5 lbs, one of our favorite things to do was to go on long walks 2-3 times a day. Even as a small pup, Duke was always a puller, and very strong, always wanting to follow that Bloodhound nose, and although back then it was manageable, he would pull me all over the place, and although he is very smart and is very good at all the basic commands like sit, back up, down, etc, the heel/walk beside me training was one challenge I was not able to train him on. As the months went on and as he grew bigger and stronger, walks became more and more stressful for me, despite me trying different leashes, techniques, collars, etc, with him literally dragging me all over until some time ago, he nearly dragged us both across the road. I was just about ready to give up when my dad bought this wonderful harness for Duke for Christmas, and words cannot describe how amazing this harness really is. It is incredibly easy to fit and put on, and it only took Duke 3 attempts at pulling on the leash and being redirected before my boy was walking right beside me like a gentleman. We actually had a nice, leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, something I was beginning to think was never going to be possible. If you are having similar issues with your dog, I highly recommend giving this harness a try, I honestly can't say enough good things about it. So sorry fir such a long post, I'm just so happy and excited to have finally found something that works and to be able to enjoy my walks with Duke! Thanks again so much for such a great product! Tatiana
I got this for my dog and I was surprised at how great he did with it the first time. Before he would always want to run ahead, but with this he was at my side most of the time. He weighs 50 pounds too. I know with more work with it that he will do great with it.
I work with rescue Mastiffs and other giant breeds. I've used these to successfully train adults 175+ pounds with no training that pulled like a freight train. They were amazing. I use two leashes, one on their regular flat collar and one on the harness. Initially there is more focus on the harness and then gradually change to the collar. They can take a little time to adjust ad first, but then they are on with a click. Recommended.
i have a mastiff greatdane mix and he got out of his harness today all though he is a gental giant and only 8 months old how do i prevent that from happening.is this a good harness for my peoblem
Good idea for a product! I don't want to step on toes, but... well, I probably will anyway. It isn't malicious, I promise. I wouldn't recommend treating or talking to a dog excitedly if you're trying to get him to walk by your side. I say this because treats and praise generate excitement for most dogs, which makes it more difficult for them to control their speed. Instead, use your body language (relaxed, happy), a loose leash, and maybe a calm pat to tell your dog he's got it right. They're incredibly perceptive, they'll figure it out and still be stoked to be walking next to you.
You have it backwards, homey. Walking your dog with treats in your pocket is a form of training in and of itself, and should begin ASAP. It's not just about the reward, but developing the dog's attention skills: They will _always_ be listening for the crinkle of that bag! There are certainly some eager-to-please dogs who value praise over food, but that's not how all (or even most, IME) dogs work.
This is SO TRUE! He’ll be walking calmly by my side and I’ll say “good boy!” And he’ll immediately speed up. I had to stop saying it and just give a silent smile instead.
Just bought this at Petco. Store staff assisted putting it on and it worked instantly. Wish I’d purchased this before the other harness and retractable lead.
This works amazing for my black lab 🐕 dog that weighs 95lbs. The instructions are very detailed and complete, plus this video promotes a deeper understanding. Thank you very much for this excellent product. 🥇🐕🐕
Reading some of the comments, I can't help but laugh. All those people having issues are not fitting the harness properly. And the people who say it doesn't stop your dog from pulling, you are correct. This isn't a tool that automatically fixes pulling. You still have to train your dog not to pull, the harness simply makes it a lot easier to put your dogs attention back on you. I just tried mine out on a two year old Siberian Husky/Czech wolf dog mix who's quite the puller when she goes after her nose, and it works like a charm, because I use the tool to train my dog, not thinking the tool will train my dog.
@@livinsurfside I'm not a fan of the gentle leader at all, too high of a risk of damage when the dogs decides to pull at full force if you ask me. I'm not using the harness anymore, no need for it as she now walks almost perfect on the leash. I use a Martingale regardless, they are GREAT for walking on leash practice. Also, a Martingale isn't a tool to fix pulling, it's a tool to prevent your dog from slipping out of a collar. Use the Martingale for practice walking on leash. Go to a clearly divined (straight) path and start walking. Once your dog gets ahead of you and is about to pull, make an abrupt 180 degree turn, lean down a little with your hand holding the lead so the loop of the collar is below the chin, and then the dog will be directed towards you as you turn. Keep doing this and pretty quickly the dog will pick up that pulling on the leash = not going where he wants to go.
I have a pink EZ walk harness for my bully baby and it is indeed a great product. however I have been putting it on totally wrong lol so again, a testament to how good of a product this is. thanks so much for this instructional video! Im going to go put it on my baby the correct way in a few minutes lol beautiful dog too! purebred boxer! gorgeous! and what I loved most about this video is how gentle the woman was with the animal. and how they distracted him with treats during the harness fitting and adjustment segment of the video. :)
Your story made me laugh because... I don't usually walk the dog because my roommate likes the exercise but she is away this weekend. I felt like an imbecile last night trying to figure out which way this thing was supposed to go on the dog - the previous one she had, you used to have to lift one paw into each side hoop kinda thing so this being a triangle kinda had me scratching my head, the dog (pitbull) was so patient with me lol 🤣 but no way seemed correct so I gave up and just attached the leash to his collar instead which seemed fine till we were half way on the walk and he stopped to sniff some grass as I was walking ahead of him - next thing I know I'm walking with a leash and collar with no dog attached! I guess it just slipped off around his lowered head lol. Luckily he is a good boy and didn't run off or anything, he was busy sniffing so I reattached the collar and we made it home. Hence why I'm watching this video, hopefully tonight I'll get it right 👍

I just adopted my dog and he needs a harness cause he's a flight risk. So I'm learning all I can lol. Also my dog Juno get nervous when I put a harness or a leash on him. So I'm working with him to try to get him to be more comfortable with me. The person who helped me with the adoption said he might have been abused in the past with a leash or harness maybe, he's getting better which each time I put it on him though. And the baby has to be on a harness and a collar cause he is a flight risk and I live in the country and lots of wild animals live out there so I have to make sure he does not escape.
I ordered a slightly too big one for one of my dogs so the O rings wouldn't sit right/high enough, but when I put it on upside down I was able to get a perfect fit. Jimi was literally jumping through the chest strap because the top strap didn't shorten enough for a snug fit. Problem fixed.
Great Video. Thank you. You know what confused me? Maybe it's just me, but there is a little tag with an "L" on it indicating LEFT. However, it is on the dog's right side. I guess if you are facing the dog it would be on the person's left. Just confusing. I've been having the leash attach on the top of the dog. Okay, going outside now to properly place the harness on Bruno, my 1/2 collie/ 1/2 Chow. Thank you.
The "L" you see on the side is the sizing. The harness used here is a large. For proper results the D ring should be on the dog's chest. Although not recommended, it can be placed where the shoulder strap is. But it will compromise the quality and effectiveness of the product.
Ellen Jane Tucker Thank you. I think my dog has lost some weight because the strap seems loose. I will readjust his harness and enjoy this product thoroughly. Thank you.
I also thought the L was left, but the only way to make it work is with the L on the right side. I have other brands of no-pull harnesses and they all have tags for LEFT and RIGHT so multiple harnesses on multiple dogs, this one is always the most confusing. I am going to cut off the L tag.
Will this help for dogs that want to walk infront of the owner. My dog doesnt really pull untill i walk infront of him it seems like he just wants to walk ahead of me
It's a good product and it's only a product. It will not teach your dog to walk at your side perfectly. You are still training him to stay just slightly behind you so he can see and feel your leg and hand at his head. Don't let him get in a habit of 'forging' ahead. He is on YOUR walk and YOU are the leader.
We tried every adjustment possible while paying close attention to the instruction video. He still has friction burns just behind his front legs. A poor design and waste of money in my opinion.
I have a personal trainer who did it with such a quick touch on my small breed! This is a GREAT video for a large dog, but I wish I would have made a video while my awesome trainer was putting it on! Do you have a video for small breeds? Happy Holidays, PetSafe!
Not 100% sold on this Item yet. I will be trying it for a bit longer just to make sure if I'm using it correctly or not but I had the same issues as one of the other users did. I've watched the video plenty of times and have adjusted and readjusted. I tighten it up to a good fit but the harness loosens way too much after every few feet. My dog slips the harness on without any fuss, which I took to be a good sign on our first day trying this Item, but as I took my time readjusting it today I noticed what looked like blood on the belly strap which another user also commented. I really dislike the buckle on the belly strap as well, it rides right behind her right elbow and I'm sure that will cause damage in the long run unless I can find a way to fix that. I feel like the belly strap should be made longer and the shoulder strap may be a bit too long though it does adjust easily (just really wish some of that extra length had been applied to the belly strap). If I adjust the shoulder strap to make the belly strap "longer" or "looser", the O rings lose their proper position above the legs. It really makes me wonder if my dog walks better because it's a good harness (in which case I would like to keep using it and just learn how to adjust the darn thing properly) or if she's walking "BETTER" because she doesn't want the harness hurting her in its restricting manner.
If the harness loosens up when the dog moves you could sew the harness in place once you've adjusted it. Just a couple of stitches at first and then walk the dog around a little so you can see if it doesn't fit well, that way you don't have to do so much work to re-adjust it. When it's a perfect fit sew it all the way, that worked for me with another kind of harness with not so good buckles.
I am struggling to fit this right on my dog. It is rubbing behind and under his legs, no matter how I adjust it. It makes the side ways T....any recommendations?
I bought mine at a Pet Specialty store and they were happy to fit it on my dog and explain how to get the proper fit. Worth the extra few dollars for that service.
I bought one of these for my dog. Tried it, didn't work, it slipped every which way. I saw this video and refitted exactly as explained. I even go out the measure tape to be sure. I though it was working but wasn't please with the clip sitting behind the front leg. Second day out on our walk I took the easy walker off because my dog wasn't walking right only to find blood on the belly strap. It had friction rubber just behind my dogs leg. So I wonder does it do what is says or is it just that it restrict the movement of the dogs legs. I mean if the dog pulls the lead pulls the harness forward because it is attached to the front, which in turn pulls the the belly and back strap forward putting pressure on the front legs. Disappointed I put this on my dog.
+TheShootout007 You either had it on too tight or it was at the point of being on where it was able to rub. It shouldn't be able to move at all but shouldn't look like it's squeezing the dog.
+TheShootout007 We had the same issue with one identical to this. It is due to the material. We made sure it fit properly, did everything they said to do, but he still got skin rubbed away because of where the underarm straps are. You can see that in the video where their legs and bodies meet. The strap sides were so rough that while he was walking they just eroded his skin away. We are getting the TruFit harness now as the design is totally different, the straps don't sit right under the armpits and the material doesn't seem as rough but it still has the D ring on the front which is what I want. Good luck!
+TheShootout007 We've had the same issues with 2 pit bulls, both weigh the same but one taller, longer and lean the other shorter and stocky. The stocky pup is in an XL the other in a L, both harness kind of slide position, they still pull ALOT but the worst is the way it fits under their arm pits. It's not just the nylon, there is a buckle on each side sewn on with zero length to the cross piece and zero adjustment. More than once I've clipped the harness and pinched them plus when the really pull (like other off leash dogs charging up) it rubs their underarms raw. What a stupid place to put the buckles, will have to try Halti's again (people often think they're muzzled and become fearful and the short nose of my pudgy one doesn't fit that well). I regret buying them =$70
Glad I sought out this video for this harness and read the reviews. I have a 4 month old Boxer pup that already pulls my arm out of my socket on walks. Looking for a better way to control her. It will not be this harness.
I have a question: My pup's fur is very think and slippery so even though I have it around him tightly, the girth still slides up on his back due to the lack of friction. Should I just make it tighter? I feel bad squeezing it onto him.
I followed the video and the harness is riding up under my GSDs armpits. What part of the harness do I need to readjust? Very stressed out please reply. 😢😰
Thank you for your question! The Gentle Leader Head Collar is by far the most effective tool when it comes to a no-pull solution, but the Easy Walk Harness is also a great option and works just as well as the head collar.
Great question. Regrettably, we couldn't recommend using a muzzle and the Gentle Leader Headcollar at the same time. The muzzle could interfere with the Headcollar and make it lose its initial purpose as a pull deterrent.
The leash clip in front is a different design then mine. The ring slides over to one side all the way to his shoulder when pulling. I believe if my Easy Walk was designed like this one, it would work better. Also once adjusted, they slip and are loose again. It is however, so much better than a collar!!!
I bought a size large for a client dog, a 7 month old lab with a terrible pulling habit. Only problem is, he now grabs at the leash to chew it as we walk. Any suggestions on how to prevent this? Hope I haven't traded one problem for another! Thanks!
My larger size harness came with an extra black strap with two thin O rings on either side, nothing seems to mention it not even the papers inside the packaging, what in the world is that intended for?
I bought the Easy Walk Harness it looks great however the instructions did not come in English and the Easy Walk Harness came in two reds; one is darker than the other and it can be hard to tell in some places with the wrong light, so we will see how great this harness and just how easy it is to walk the dog! You may want to update your contact information!
Sadly enough, my labrador found this harness to be very uncomfortable. Especially behind the front legs, where the relatively sharp strap will rub in the armpits. I've looked around and found some more comfortable (But also more expensive) alternatives rather quickly. As for the anti pulling ring on the front: that worked perfectly. As soon as he went and pulled too far ahead, he was pulled sideways by the harness and stopped in his tracks. Not recommending the product as it is now though, as comfort is a big game changer for an active dog that needs long walks.
The harness fits perfect except for the chest strap, its to big, smaller size to small. My 65 lb Pitbulls walked great w it but hates it now. The front strap drooping frustrated her and she started jumping like a crazy dog, she is normally calm. I tugged when she jumped and the position of the leash attachment flipped her over n she landed on her back. Her front paw came out of the chest strap so she was only in on one side. It was the walk from hell. I can't tighten the chest strap anymore. It worked well for 2 days. I'm really frustrated.
I still can’t get a good fit with measurement instructions. Impossible to not get that side T. To get a snug fit the rings aren’t far enough back. So frustrating. Girth straps hangs down too low. When that is adjusted to proper position it pulls the rings forward into a T again. Just can’t use.

Role is reverse now the dog knows the direction instead of taking the neck leash. most dogs think its for pulling purposes, now its at the front they think and see that you want to take them somwhere
It’s so hard to fit this harness to be honest. I first bought medium and thought it wasn’t my dogs size so I bought medium/large and is TOO big. The front chest strap is too big
We're sorry to hear you've had difficulty fitting this harness! One of the straps is wrongly labeled as "belly strap" when it actually should be girth strap! The underlying strap goes NOWHERE near their bellies! LOL
It keeps falling off our dog when we start walking her. We have a 5 month Havanese. She is wide and has short legs. Several of us watched this and we still can't figure out what we're doing incorrectly.
We're sorry to hear you're having difficulty fitting this harness to your dog, Marcia! Could you make a similar video only using the PetSafe 3 in 1 harness please, I bought a large size for my daughter's Ridgeback and he's 36 around the belly and neck size is 20 inches. I followed the instructions in the booklet but found it too confusing to do on my own. I'm more visual type person. Your 1 minute video is too fast and only shows when it's attached to the dog, not good for me I don't think I'm the only one with this problem.
It's a good product but I wish they hadn't changed the design, changing hardware to chrome and changing the color of the belly strap - now it looks like a jangly piece of hardware and before it looked like quality. Also, hint for very deep-chested dogs like standard poodles that have narrow bodies - get a size where you have to expand the belly strap almost to the limit. That's the only size that will be narrow enough across the chest; the chest strap doesn't allow for getting much smaller.
I've been using mine on a golden retriever that I rescued and had for 2 weeks now using this harness. My dog is 9 months old and weighs 75 pounds and has had no training from previous owners. I'm still waiting for that loose lead moment. My dog has learned to anticipate a change in direction, it's frustrating as hell. I hope I'm doing something wrong...
Actually i think it's wrong to put it on like this, i did it at the beginning too, but the front strap always got loose. It goes the other way around, the black strap goes on the back of the dog, the blue one around his belly.
+Carolina Biancotti I found this was easier for me as well. I found the blue strap that's suppose to go on his back didn't allow for the loops at the shoulders to sit high enough and the front would droop way too far. I switched it around and now it fits a lot better. This may have happened though because the size I bought was a bit big on him (he's a puppy so he's still rapidly growing into it) but it worked the same for me when I put the black strap across his back and made it fit a lot nicer. At least of the time being.
+BookularBrenda my harness was also too big, they ordered the wrong one at the shop, but i sewed it and maybe it fits nicely both ways now, i'll see. Probably it will fit your puppy too as soon as it grows up :)
I can tell you that the Petite sz for smaller dogs like a pup or a yorkie does NOT work, it is extremely dangerous as the side straps come loose and the head strap/neck comes super loose
My older dog has always been a natural walking with this harness but my younger one, part husky, absolutely flips that she can't pull anymore. She was walking on two back legs, throwing herself around (and through the air!), and having a meltdown. :/
Lol oh no.. first time trying this, obviously i got the wrong size because the front is sitting at the top of her legs instead of mid chest...she charged 6 dogs and toppled over each time...i guess i will be heading back to woofys to get the proper size and HOPEFULLY fix my beauty pitbull's aggressive behaviour.

"someone should make a video...." Well why don't you make a video about it.
I never ever write reviews but I highly - HIGHLY reccommend this
I rescued a husky puppy about two months ago.

This is wonderful to hear! We're so happy this harness has made such a difference for you and your dog.
Highly recommend
works on our Shepsky to :)
The same here. :D
Your dog must be gorgeous with that mix.
I was so confused ,Thanks for this video. I watch a few seconds and put it right on.
We're glad to hear that you found this video helpful!
This harness literally worked on the first walk!
Thanks for the video! After fitting it correctly my rescue is much happier with her walks and so am I!
This thing should be called dream walk. My boy loves it.
Where did you get the harness??
Petsmart
Okay thank you
Same with me.... She is now a delight to walk!
Training is important but I’ve found this lead to make such a positive difference in the walk.
It’s a game changer for me and my 70 lbs Doberman puppy.
Thk u outstanding , very precise and to the point made easy😊
This harness is amazing instantly worked for my staffy who had a bad pulling problem
Thank you! I'm watching a dog with this type of harness and couldn't figure out how to put it on.
Brilliant video. I’ve been sitting on the couch playing with this harness trying to figure it out
I work with rescue Mastiffs and other giant breeds.
When a pet owner is looking for help in controlling a dog while walking, there are many options. The best of which is training.

i have a mastiff greatdane mix and he got out of his harness today all though he is a gental giant and only 8 months old how do i prevent that from happening.is this a good harness for my peoblem

Fred Neal Great input thank you very much. Just bought one.
What an excellent easy step by step video, thank you!
We're so happy it was helpful!
Absolutely brilliant......... Can't believe how good they are, right from the off. I think they must be coated with magic dust.
I just tried mine out on a two year old Siberian Husky/Czech wolf dog mix who's quite the puller when she goes after her nose, and it works like a charm, because I use the tool to train my dog, not thinking the tool will train my dog.
did you try other collars or gentle leader first? Martingale collar isn't helping with pulling from our four year old hound recent rescue.
Hence why I'm watching this video, hopefully tonight I'll get it right 👍
@@vapemcvaperson awww thats so sweet! 😊so glad our animal babies are so patient with us as we strive to get things right lol 😆
I love the Easy Walk harness. But I'm looking for one made of leather. My Doberman can chew threw the nylon in 3 seconds. Any suggestions?
Just put it away? On top of something he can't reach? Lol my dog do the same and he never chew one of his collar or harmess after I did this
Mine chewed right through it after I left it on. I learned. I really liked it so I bought another one.
how do i get the chest strap to stop sagging.frustrated with this
Denise Cizek never sizes correctly like in this video, so annoying and a rip off for $30
I have 2 dogs. I use the easy walk harness on both of them. Walks are so easy
I must say, as tutorials go, that was very well explained !!
Right!!
I need her to come and explain men to me 😆
Even I have a boxer that get out of his flat collar and gets me a decade to put him back... This is the best for dogs that jumps a lot...

Highly recommend! Loved mine!
Thank you.
Mike Alcott Its probably L for large... ;)
My dog doesnt really pull untill i walk infront of him it seems like he just wants to walk ahead of me
Yes, so will the Gentle Leader.
@rickey5353
Agreed
Worth the extra few dollars for that service.
oh I bought one of these.. This is cool it works. She is a Siberian Husky and she would always pull.
I regret buying them =$70
Kelley Cantrell You should try Ruffwear Front Range :)
Glad I sought out this video for this harness and read the reviews. I have a 4 month old Boxer pup that already pulls my arm out of my socket on walks. Looking for a better way to control her. It will not be this harness.
Amazing my husky used to pull so much now she walks right beside. Not all heroes wear capes 😭😭😭
I have a question: My pup's fur is very think and slippery so even though I have it around him tightly, the girth still slides up on his back due to the lack of friction. Should I just make it tighter? I feel bad squeezing it onto him.
Its supposed to squeeze him. think of it like a shoe. if the shoe isn't tight on you, then it falls off. Its the same thing for a dog harness
I followed the video and the harness is riding up under my GSDs armpits. What part of the harness do I need to readjust? Very stressed out please reply. 😢😰
cindy farnell are you sure it’s not too small? In the video it says it only rises up into the armpit if it’s too small or if you’ve over tightened it
Is it necessary to have a 4-6 ft leash, or can you just have a 3 ft leash? My dog's a terrier mix, so I got her the small harness.
I don't like the straight across chest strap. You have more control if it's an open front (the dogs will not pull) such as the true love dog harness
Do y'all recommend this over the head leash one? Debating on which one would work better for my pit
Thank you for your question! The Gentle Leader Head Collar is by far the most effective tool when it comes to a no-pull solution, but the Easy Walk Harness is also a great option and works just as well as the head collar.
@@petsafebrand ok great thanks. Would putting a muzzle over the head leash be an issue? I wanna make sure she's comfortable
Great question. Regrettably, we couldn't recommend using a muzzle and the Gentle Leader Headcollar at the same time. The muzzle could interfere with the Headcollar and make it lose its initial purpose as a pull deterrent.
@@petsafebrand ok thanks for the information. I appreciate it. 😀
Thank you for this!!
Thanks!
luvcabin metal chain leash? Or make it taste bad
My larger size harness came with an extra black strap with two thin O rings on either side, nothing seems to mention it not even the papers inside the packaging, what in the world is that intended for?
i am going to get try this,ps stunning boxer,i love these dogs
Bad fit of the belly strap - it is too close to the front legs, basically rubbing into the armpits (see 4:41)
This video is very helpful and the product is amazing my hyper German shepherd blue healer mix walked amazing after this 10/10
Good dog!
Is it best to only have the easy Walk™ Harness on your dog when he is going on walks and to not leave the harness on him all day and night?
Only on walks. No need to leave any collar on the dog all day and night.
What is it about these harnesses that is supposed to make your dog not pull?
Merci de tous ces bons conseils, que je suivrai maintenant!

how much are these do tgey work for lurvhers
Very good video, thank you.
with the girth at 31 did u get the large or the med/large
I still can't figure this out. My dog won't stay still long enough for me to do it.
+cindy l You might want to get someone to hold your dog while you adjust the harness.
thanks, I finally got it!

what kind of lead is the best for easy walk harness thanks
how do you tighten the straps
This instruction starts at 2:40
Sadly enough, my labrador found this harness to be very uncomfortable.
What alternatives did you find, please? It rubs in my dog's armpits also. Thanks!
Mine too, my pitty is as patient as he can be can’t handle it
Doesn't work and impossible to fit it how directions show
The harness fits perfect except for the chest strap, its to big, smaller size to small.

One of the straps is wrongly labeled as "belly strap" when it actually should be girth strap! The underlying strap goes NOWHERE near their bellies! LOL
It's easier to understand if you call it a belly strap.
It keeps falling off our dog when we start walking her. We have a 5 month Havanese. She is wide and has short legs. Several of us watched this and we still can't figure out what we're doing incorrectly.

Yo lo tengo desde hace tiempo, pero parece que le molesta en las axilas y parece que pierde pelo por el mismo sitio.
I have this walk your dog harness and my dog still pulls all over the place my trainer says not a good product
I have a Samoyed and it's so difficult to fit him because of all the fur.
what is the name of harness.
How can his ears straight up mine has hlaf ??
Maybe you should make some that fit pit bulls.
Se acabaron los tirones!! este artículo lo puedes encontrar en Zoomania
My older dog has always been a natural walking with this harness but my younger one, part husky, absolutely flips that she can't pull anymore. She was walking on two back legs, throwing herself around (and through the air!), and having a meltdown. :/
i did all of this and just not happy. Took me forever to try and get it to fit right and i still was not happy with the fit.
I put it on adjusted and she still pulls. The video shows how to fit but not how to use it.
I'm pretty sure my dog will just bite and pull on the leash. Since its hooked so conveniently close to her mouth..
It's up to you to teach your dog what she can and cannot bite on. Don't blame a product for your own failures.
Vets say you shouldnt use this as it can mess up the shoulders
My Vet recommended this and it's working great!!
Its funny I have two labs and this harness works best for one of them and gentle leader works best for the other. I haven't determined why that is.
Lol oh no.. first time trying this, obviously i got the wrong size because the front is sitting at the top of her legs instead of mid chest...she charged 6 dogs and toppled over each time...i guess i will be heading back to woofys to get the proper size and HOPEFULLY fix my beauty pitbull's aggressive behaviour.
