The CRX has become very rare and expensive. B-swaps have gotten crazy expensive from what they used to be. I bought my crx for $700(stock driver) in 2008, I spent about 2 years and $2,500 piecing together and building a b16 swap. It only makes 184hp and I love it. If you were going to try and build one today, I think it would cost 2-3x that. Save the EF's, K-swap the world. Be Safe all !

Fast forward today 21 Years today with a built B16B and all the goodies it stands at a street value of over 15000 in todays prices The B16B alone built was about 4000 bucks not mention paint , body kit wheels and some minor things. With over 250 + HP NA there is nothing like it. I drive other and own other cars I am telling you. Supras , Porsches, and Acuras this one is a keeper.
I searched for almost 6months for one. I didn't want to give in on the "2022"prices. At the end I bought one for 1200. Although it's automatic that was the least of my worries. What I wanted was a solid body and being able to driven daily. I already have most parts for the manual conversion,and all the parts for black trim interior. Next is my attention will go towards the drivetrain😎

Man I hear you. I own a 88 CRX with the B16A and the limited slip transmission and just finished putting in AC and insulation to quiet it down. The AC took over 4 months to piece together and install and configure but it was worth it.

Sick build - your customer has good taste. But something you said caught my attention: "No one has done AC in a K swap car before" right around minute mark 4:50. Do you mean in a CRX? Because I have a K swap EK with RBC intake, AC, P/S, and passes Illinois emissions and its been complete and driving since last year. I love my sleepers. Had a 98 EJ8 coupe. Stock steelies and hubcaps. Did a complete B16a SIR-II swap in it and drove it like that for over a decade. No where near as cool as this build but at the time it was a fun car that caught a lot of people off gaurd simply because it looked stock. I miss that car so much that I just picked up 2000 EJ8 same color with rod knock and I plan on doing another reliable sleeper build.
I'd have to agree that horse power is not everything I built a 92 civic hatch to daily drive it has a k24a2 swap and plenty for what I do. it made 231hp 200tq and it's stock with rdx injectors

I also have an 04 odyssey which i actually love but rhe transmission is going. That j35 will go in something one day. I recently took it out and revamped the fuel system, brakes, top end gasket and seals... currently working on getting the body restored through a local body shop here in south florida. My desire is to make 200HP on a Bseries swap or build up my D-series motor... kinda torn at the moment cause I really haven't really decided, what I truly want to do...

RBC, ebay gt3582 or 3076r, 6 speed si trans, Hondata, and lowish boost and id call it good. Last i budgeted it you could do it for under $5k back when rollers were cheap. wish i had done it

On the outside yeah, looks stock but open the bonnet and it's a dead giveaway it's not stock at all. Not a true Sleeper. I shouldn't complain though, at least it hasn't been gutted out and turned into a dragster like most other 'rex.

I threw a b20 in mine last year and it's 1000x more enjoyable. Double the tq and double the hp of my d16 zc that was in it.mine is an si hatch.
