This is maybe the best live version I have seen of After the Rain, other than their After the Rain music video which was the most outstanding memorable performance I have EVER seen from any 80s/early 90s band! I especially like how Matthew starts off the song in a lower register and then Gunnar comes in singing at a higher register. They are always so enjoyable to watch because their timing with singing and playing guitar is seamless and absolute perfection! This performance showcases Gunnar's prowess with lead guitar that is really nice to watch him play guitar that way. Rock on Nelson bros! 🤘🎸🤘

Still rocking those awesome voices! I love that they include the little interlude that's from the music video. That takes the song to another level! I wish it was on the record version, though.

Damnit, how on earth did I miss these guy's at Jergel's. I used to work a couple miles away off of Swinderman road and would always hear coworkers talk about some of the performance s there, ...glad they did because I saw Fuel with Scallions....amazibg performance! Haven't worked at that place for some time and really need to keep up with the website, big time bummed out I missed these guys playing live.

just a thee piece band but they keep the spirit of the song alive -very professionel- the record version has such a big sound and production, it takes a lot of balls and skills to reduce it to an three piece, and it also shows, that a great song can stand the test,without any bombast, i like it
Am I the only one who thinks the drummer looks like he's trying too hard? Also the way his drums are tuned make it sounds as if he's hitting 5-gallon plastic buckets instead of drums.
The track is too big without them. They kinda have to. Still, the lead and high harmony vocals are live. Even when the full band is present, they use backing tracks for the gang vocals.
