I lived in this area more than 15 years ago when it was mostly dirt, bare roads and empty houses. Hardly any tall buildings. Crazy how built up it is now.
Too many cars and scooters there parked everywhere, its crazy!

I want to go to Vietnam for approximately 6 months, to see if I would like to live there. I believe that I would need to be there at least 6 months before I could make a good decision. Toughest decision is deciding what city/ District to move to
Please consider a visit of shorter duration. Your safety might be jeopardized by a non-reversable leap into a truly competative millieu. 2 weeks @ 91 degrees, might change your optimism... The Vietnamese are a very inventive and brave people, and not just in areas that are easily observed, or SAFE....

2:26 I am very curious about the communist sign (in red) because all the traffic and buildings etc. seems to be a deep contrast to the sameness suggested by such an egalatarian credo. I guess investment from...China...(and France + the U.S. etc.)...makes this seeming duality possible, but it does seem like defying gravitational monetary inflation at the same impossible..."time".
