- I take a walk in the Cầu Giấy District District of Hanoi, Vietnam to the Lotte Department Store. There is a new metro line under construction through the majority of this walk. The entire area was full of activity and it seemed to be a very lively urban district.

The pink & white lanterns and sakura trees look pretty. 😍 It was neat to see the metro line and all the local businesses throughout this video and Lotte Department Store at the end. The water way you passed by and said "it looks polluted" that's where the name "Cầu Giấy" district came to be. It's the bridge (Cầu) leading to the paper (Giấy) village from the 13th century bear the name 紙作 Paper Making . The French took many photos of this bridge and they called it " Hanoi Pont de Papier"... wars broke out here countless times in colonial days.
The green area leading to the Lotte is the zoo built during the French. The Japanese restaurants strip I don't think they're closing, either they open morning or afternoon. Vietnam shuts down between 12pm-2pm sometimes 3pm for siesta. Companies do offer napping rooms for employees.
Through your video that I learned about Worri Bank LOL, I only knew of Shinnan Bank. Awesome walk, thank you.
With 1 hand pointing to the motorists whilst crossing the roads...AK is making progress to become a master in road crossing in Vietnam 🇻🇳....the streets are busy as ever...lots of shops along the routes...the new Metro station 🚉 is modern and beautiful...hope it will open soon...
