- Hoi An is an ancient town and UNESCO World Heritage Site in the central part of Vietnam. It is well known for its cultural sites, lantern festival, restaurants, and shops. It was very nice to explore the ancient town, and I got to learn a lot!

This looks like a beautiful, colorful town, the lights at night really show it up. Those beautiful trees early on the walk with the hot pink flowers, are those by chance Bougainvilla? I know Hoi An is beautiful but every time watching it, it's just reaffirm that I forget about how nice it is. Thank you for the walk.
Started out they wanted to sell ticket to every person enters the old town, people detested this idea, so many debates, and they scaled down to just charging the entering of historical sites to maintain these places, since Hoi An get flood every other years. Last time you got in free by luck LOL, just like when I was at Disneyland years ago, ten of thousands waited like an hour under the sun, because they need to metal detect scanning every person, in the end they just opened additional lines for the crowd to swarm in freely. Not safe at all for Disney size and especially in LA.
