An old video from July 2016, Kongsberg Jazz festival. Angelina was performing there as a support for the concert of Melody Gardot. Sorry for very poor video quality, it was recorded by a phone from a long distance, and I could not hide my emotions in the end and just dropped the phone and applauded as loud as I could.

Angelina Jordan at age of 10 she’s accomplished singer, storyteller, emotional transfer she can make you feel the words fill the song from her spirit to your spirit what her talent she said she want to mate in her music. She want to convey love and peace and she does. She’s a gift from heaven, a child prodigy, to bring joy to the world.
Angelina almost makes me cry! Her voice is so amazing.

Thank you. Great to hear this. Interesting to see her wait out the drummer at the high power run in Feelin’ Good. Both at the beginning of the section and then waiting for the cymbal roll to stop before she finished off the high notes. Makes me appreciate other drummers she plays with who have more finesse and subtlety.

Stupid people talking in back ground. Hate to say it but music is overly typical jazz that is drowning out her unique sound. A more hip less pompous improv jam band will be terrific . One day she will be on fire. Cant wait.
