I think the reaper is the best place to farm. When you farm the reaper if you start running exactly when you spawn at the archstone you can get the stingray right before you turn around and go down to the reaper for an extra thousand or so souls. And of course you get even more souls if you are in female form and you wear the silver bracelets and the ring of Avarice. Dude. I was pretty wild about the Ritual Path farming spot for a LONG time. I used to total how much I'd make per run and I always tried to break 15K but always ended up in the realm of 14.5K (with Ring of Avarice,) and each run took probably 4 minutes (a guess.) I thought that was so good. I just followed your video and FINALLY made my way past the creepy laser ghosts and got through the Storm King fight and holy shit, this Monolith spot is so much better. On my first run through it, before I've even become familiar with the patterns, and before I've worked out the most efficient way to kill everything, I just made 21,048 in 1 minute and 24 seconds LMAO. From 14.5k in 4 minutes to 21k in 1.5 minutes... This Monolith Forest spot is literally four times better than Ritual Path.
I figured that in my first NG+ all you have to do is get your dex to 60 and use the stick bow on the sting rays and its a one shot I think 50 for regular new game I take 45 seconds with black world tendency in soul form and pull 55k souls each run

@@joddog when people make a build in these games, especially when it comes to pvp, they like to optimize their stat spread as much as possible. if you choose a certain starting class, you might get a few extra levels that are more useful for you. like say you're not going to use any magic and only melee, a starting class that has extra magic levels won't be ideal. I'm not familiar with what the hunter class is good for, maybe dex.
@@joddog I was just gonna come back and edit my first comment to say that yeah, you're putting like 5 or so extra into luck that is wasted. For pve you don't have to get so anal about stats, but it would make fighting off invaders and killing bosses easier. and remember, this game doesn't have a good respec mechanic so if you decide you wanna optimize later, you would probably have to start over. I would recommend surfing youtube a bit to get familiar with the stats and some easy builds to start out on. if you do a little of everything it might be hard towards the end of the game, I don't know. and NG+ would be too hard if you are into that. Or even just play a bit and find out what weapons you like to use, then start over and do a build around that weapon.

Magic>a Bow for this Farming, because MP doesn't cost Souls. Arrows do. So, I'd suggest the Royal Class, which comes with Magic Recovery to stack on the Crescent Falchion. Might as well pick that up in 4-1 on the way, it's not much of a detour.
@@AshenOneGaming While you're in the Shrine of Storms, unlock Graverobber Blige, and buy the Leather Armor off of him. So, in the passage right before the large cave with orbs flying around, you have to run past two alien-looking things. Now right next to the second one there's a reaper standing. This ofc shouldn't be a problem since it's easy to just run past him, as seen in the video. Problem is he is two shotting me in the back whenever I attempt to make this run. Without fail. Since it's just a corridor there's nowhere to take cover either. Guess the only option is to take out the two aliens and bait the reaper out and deal with it. Sucks it couldn't be as easy as the guide though, but that's just my luck! Good guide anyway, now I know where to head to at least 🙂👍

@@kamilbuchalski7230 nah, had to take it slow during that part. Kill the aliens with bow, sneak up on the reaper and shoot him with bow as well. Barely peek around the corner and it's possible to find a hitbox on him without him being able to hit you. Good luck! 😁
You can also use the poison pad abilities and literally just sit stay away snd watch him slowly go down and out on thief ring takes awhile but it safe that's what I did maybe can do both poison then slowly shoot arrows
There’s a shit ton of red skeletons that I can’t get passed on the pathway to the old hero boss fight. Does this mean if I do manage to beat the king of storms I’ll get 100k souls from using the lightning sword on the stingrays?
Ok if you want a consistent rune farn, DO NOT kill the boss, with avarice ring each of them drops 1,500 souls and more with bracelet, kill a group of them with the sword and then save and exit and just keep repeating, when you save and exit you’ll be teleported outside the fog gate and the boss resets allowing you to keep farming the mobs

your strategy against the Old hero worked perfectly .. i used it with Soul arrow and a combo of the thief and fragrant rings.. took me like 40 minutes to kill him but he didn't even touch me
Ha nice one mate! Nice strategy!
I beat him in 3 minutes with melee
For a tip with the old hero, literally easy as hell method. Shoot or hit him once then let him do his roar and wait til he starts walking again and repeat, took me like 5 min to beat him and he nevers jumps at you or anything, i literally stood in the same spot in the middle basically the whole time.
I wanna thank you dude because you literally helped me through all of this!!!! I managed to do everything thank you so fucking much!!!! Definitely subscribing for more!!!!
Brian by friend! You are welcome sir!
I finally beat old hero’s punk ass.. bout to do king of storm now !!!! Thanks bro this vid helped me alot!!!
You’re smashing it mate! Nice one, keep it up! 👍💪
Reading all your comments I felt like I was on a bitcoin farming page but with Demon's Souls instead. Ca-chihing.
I love these games, oh Toe-nished ones. 🦶❌ *"Praise the Sun!"* 🔆
Thankee for this vid, man, and bless thee too. 🙏
Legendary guide!
Thank you.
I figured that in my first NG+ all you have to do is get your dex to 60 and use the stick bow on the sting rays and its a one shot
I think 50 for regular new game
I take 45 seconds with black world tendency in soul form and pull 55k souls each run
if you don't use the hunter and don't have the axe for world 4, you can use your fists. sounds crazy, but the skeletons are weak to your punches vs other weapons. also there is a bow in 4-1 you can pick up
Why not hunter?
@@joddog when people make a build in these games, especially when it comes to pvp, they like to optimize their stat spread as much as possible. if you choose a certain starting class, you might get a few extra levels that are more useful for you. like say you're not going to use any magic and only melee, a starting class that has extra magic levels won't be ideal. I'm not familiar with what the hunter class is good for, maybe dex.
@@Culturedtuna1 yeah I’m just going a pve build for my first run, speccing into a bit of everything. The only waste I see is 12 base luck
@@Culturedtuna1 yeah I never mess with pvp in souls games too meant sweats in the servers 😂 I get the platinum trophy and get out. Come back three years rinse and repeat haha
You don't even need to roll from the steps anymore, you can vault over the wall next to ostrava
Yep!
Please support me, it would mean the world: www.patreon.com/ashen_one
It worked thanks this game frustrates the hell out of me!!!
But It's a good game
Bless your soul for giving us this gift
You are more than welcome! :)
Great Video. Thanks for your help. Greetings from Germany
Thanks mate, no problem. Hope you're keeping safe!
Just getting back to playing demon souls and u must say u are a legend 😎
You can vault over that ledge without the roll onto it for their ring
Tip from a noob: if you’re having trouble with the roll take off your armor
Spoken like a true demon slayer mate. Nothing noob about you! 💪👍
Dude, this absolute power grin in the thumbnail has me in tears laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but appreciate the tips! Awesome game!
not sure Adjudicator even with the ring just keeps lashing me till i die even against the fog wall
edit: nevermind i just had to git gud
Hey Julius? Really? Never known that to happen? I think it’s about timing and not trying to get too many hits in 😊
ok but same, what did you do differently?
Thanks Boss! This is a great guide!
Damn I remember this farming spot in the original demons souls. Glad it still worked in the remake
For the thrift ring you don’t need to roll of you can vault stuff in this game just walk up to it
Using Soul Remains works against all the ground-based enemies in world 4, truly making this the easiest archstone to finish
What does Soul remains do? I have dozens of these but haven’t looked up what they do yet
@@ThePokestopPapi works the same way as alluring skulls in dark souls.
Pretty much every enemy goes after and attacks where you throw the remains, granted you throw them within their aggro range.
All the skeletons, reapers, and even black phantoms will fall for it
@@PaladinLeeroy42069 Ahh ok, thank you!
This game has been kicking my butt, I'm still on the TowerKnight but this helps so much
Where you at now bro? I’m NG+ now and got 3 bosses left
dont know if anyone else said this but you can literally just vault over the wall to the thief ring. but your way works too lol
Myron! Yep! Hah back then I was too sure haha
Utterly brilliant, life saver 💪🏼
You absolute legend......
Does this still work? Currently started the game
@@FunKaYxxD1sCO yes.
Still working! Thank u 👍🏻
Thanks for the great video! 👍 just subscribed
Cheers Mike, appreciate it. I have another video that I’m just piecing together now for advanced soul farming in NG+ 👍
Just here to confirm that wall skip is still doable, just a bitch and a half to do
XD he made it look so easy in the video, it’s not…
Keep rollin rollin rollin🎶
I don't know where you were standing when you were striking at the bird, but each time he screeched the beast stretched his tongue through the floor and could still hit me no matter where I was standing.
So the best farm spot is the end, where the manta rays fly by right?
ye
Congrats u made an infomercial guide out of Front Software games.
Save the guy in 4-1 first so he shows up in the room right before the reaper and sells arrows for 10 souls instead of 20 in the nexus
Then you have even faster, cheaper farming of the reaper! Lovely stuff!
@@AshenOneGaming yeah and the key is right below the shortcut and his cell is just over the other side of the wall
@@cynicalpotato6837 yep! Copper Key. And he sells Moonlightstone shards in 4-2 as well. Really handy for the Crested Falchion if you pick that up 😀
@@AshenOneGaming unfortunately you need darkmoonstone to upgrade the Crescent falchion :(
@@cynicalpotato6837 cant u buy that from the filty man? In the beginning of the level with the mine?
Great video !!
Thank you!
What bow are you using? Short bow? I am playing as a mage.
that was a very good game, I just played this game, fortunately I found this video early on, thanks for the guide.. Hope to see you on other game 👍
Im new to this. Its solid haha. What should i carry and put in storage? Does everything have a use?
You are amazing and I have been following your guides ever since I got the ps5 a couple days ago . You have sub or life
Yes! So glad you finally got one. Hopefully more people can get a PS5 now. Thanks for subscribing!
@@AshenOneGaming thank you . And you earned it
Here in 2024 and I forgot a bow in general so now I’m using a silver catalyst with no upgrades and doing 29 damage a hit on the old hero
adjudicator is killing me everytime, what you presented here is not applicable for me somehow
Adjudicator has a glitch where his tounge goes through the floor its so annoying
Man did they patch the adjudicator boss or something coz he sees ma ass immediately even with thr thief ring :(
Nevermind, I was not near the fog gate. Bro this was super helpful, the cheese for this boss was fantastic, even got another trophie! Subscribed 😁👍
Man dude be smaccin da shit out my temple knight with his tongue (pause). I wear theif ring but he still detects me.
Was the Adjudicator updated? This attack goes through the second floor somehow and the ring isn’t helping at all. Even when I’m in one of the corners. It’s BS.
I just tried this method two times as of Jan 27,2023
When I first fought the Adjudicator I went in soul form and didn’t not have the thief ring equipped once I entered the fog I went into my inventory and equipped it but the Adjudicator tongue clipped through the floor even while I hugged the fog wall.
The second time I went in human form with the thief ring equipped already and the Adjudicator didn’t clip through the floor this time and I killed it with 18 to 20 arrows with my lvl 5 long bow also I only have 12 points in dex hope this helps
Something very important is not said: if your character is on high equipment burden, remove armor and weapons so you can roll.
Is the roll to skip to the boss still working?
Or did it get patched. I beat phalanx I hope it isn't patched. Elden ring brought me to this game since I beat elden ring several times with 500+ hrs and it being my first souls game I plan to go back and play every souls game I missed. And I came across your videos which are great man?👍
Cheers mate! Also, I’m so jealous that you’re about to embark on a souls marathon for the first time. It will change you as a gamer forever 😄 Roll still works make sure you’re rolling fast. Sometimes best just to unequip your gear then roll. Just to make sure
@@AshenOneGaming I love the light roll in elden ring I did a no armor playthrough as well, Yes man and the beauty of this demon's souls remake looks amazing. I can't wait to go to bloodborn and all the dark souls as we'll. I have quite the long journey ahead of me. Well I appreciate the response. Good to know this works. And great informative vids much thanks!👍
you jus made me believe all souls games are easy with farming, this may sound dumb but i’ve always seen these games x10 challenging then they really are(still all these games are not a difficulty to joke with and they are hard especially the first few play throughs of each) and as dumb as it may sound i’ve always played these games with what i had and kept moving and leveled up when i destroyed a boss. hence why i’ve quit ds1 and 2 but now i’m gunna retake this whole series on and farm early on. after this i looked up a grass farm, and while healing in this game is a tad easier imo than dark souls , the concept of farming has never really hit me like this. so from a noob idiot thank you ! lmao
Good one!
Just started the game and I think I'm just gna farm world for forever 😂
Your the best I could not get pass this level thank thank thank you yes I did it
Duke my man! Nice one mate!
Good video and tips thanks a lot
No problem, the game can be quite rough, even for returning fans. So, it's always nice to have a few tricks up the sleeve :D
@@AshenOneGaming this is not a glitch so thank you
@@s0me188 hey mate, thanks for the comment. Do you mind asking you something? Obviously there are real game-breaking glitches in the game, essentially ‘cheats’. You could argue that being able to max out all your stats via the luck glitch could basically make all other soul farming redundant. But do you still prefer seeing alternatives that are more about playing the game rather than just cheating it?
@@AshenOneGaming of course playing and raise your self with all hard stuffs in the game better than cheating .. that's why I love souls games
@@s0me188 I feel like such a fool. I’ve seen videos of people just exploiting the game to crazy extremes and therefore decided to not create videos. You’ve inspired me to make more. Thank you! :)
Such an amazing video for farming souls my friend. I already left a like and will jow Subscribe. Thank you thank you.
Thanks mate, appreciate it. Got another vid going live in the next hour. "Advanced Soul Farming', 100,000s in minutes. More for the NG+ and beyond players, but it follows on from this quite well!
So, just to make absolutely sure, the manta rays will respawn in the sky even after the King of Storms has been killed? Because during that boss battle, I noticed killing them was netting HECKA souls. I considered not killing the storm king just so I could keep farming them.
Yeah mate. Get the boss killed. And then just use archstone to reset and all rays come back without boss. Once cleared just hit archstone again and repeat :D
Holy hell this farm is great
Holy hell this comment is Great
Awesome thanks
8:13 safer play this part is put thief ring on snd use bow to snipe guy from archway an stairs then st top of stairs u can snipe the reaper and despawn all thr moves snd go down all the stairs back to thr next outdoor part but gotta deal with the mobs then
Any tips on timing the roll right? I failed for 2 hours straight.
Edit: finally got it by taking off all my armor... Should have tried that first.
Currently playing the Royalty class and it is hands down my favourite! This is a great comment 👍
@@AshenOneGaming While you're in the Shrine of Storms, unlock Graverobber Blige, and buy the Leather Armor off of him. Just the body, it's the best thing to Reinforce the Glass Cannon, so you can survive a few whacks of Melee. You can't shoot everything, but you can weaken them enough to finish them off with a few well timed slashes. Also, a Crescent Broadsword can do everything the Crescent Falchion can do and more. (You can get that from the Dredgeling Peddler in World 3. Same place you can buy the Claymore.) So, save your Moonstone Shards for that.
@@Psiberzerker I can’t help getting to Crescent Falchion immediately and getting it to +5 ASAP. I have a video on my channel fighting the Tower Knight. Omg he does so quickly! 😂
@@AshenOneGaming I saw that. Yeah, the Crescent Broadsword might take a while to get up to +5, but it's optional, and I'm late...
It’s something cool and different, almost every other guide is royalty which becomes bland after a while. Don’t mind the whole bow farming tbh, you’ll have enough souls by then.
This video deserves more likes. Get this man some likes!!
Ha thanks mate!
Do I have to use the class that starts with the Axe or can I use temple knight for this run?
Happens to me too. Did you find a way around or we need to kill him? Tried like 15 times already to run past him, but he shoots me in the back every time.
@@kamilbuchalski7230 nah, had to take it slow during that part. Kill the aliens with bow, sneak up on the reaper and shoot him with bow as well. Barely peek around the corner and it's possible to find a hitbox on him without him being able to hit you. Good luck! 😁
@@JackVogel2024 bruh, that’s just what i did on my run before i read your comment took me a couple tries before i figured it out
You can also use the poison pad abilities and literally just sit stay away snd watch him slowly go down and out on thief ring takes awhile but it safe that's what I did maybe can do both poison then slowly shoot arrows
There’s a shit ton of red skeletons that I can’t get passed on the pathway to the old hero boss fight. Does this mean if I do manage to beat the king of storms I’ll get 100k souls from using the lightning sword on the stingrays?
I passed the area it felt good 👍 after 3 hours lol 😆 I keep trying to go back for my souls when i die and I die again before even getting my souls
Those Skeltons are fuckin ridiculous
Ok if you want a consistent rune farn, DO NOT kill the boss, with avarice ring each of them drops 1,500 souls and more with bracelet, kill a group of them with the sword and then save and exit and just keep repeating, when you save and exit you’ll be teleported outside the fog gate and the boss resets allowing you to keep farming the mobs
The mobs respawn without the boss.
I tried the thief ring trick on adjudicator and he was still attacking me as if I was never wearing it.
Forgive my ignorance - u farm the flying doodZ at the end of the level? That's best farming spot?
Yep! Use the storm ruler sword :)
@@AshenOneGaming holy crap does it ever work!!!! Thank you. Now I just need t0 tank the world tendency :) and find somewhere to farm fainstone for a faith re-gen build :)
@@SafetyFooT oooh I like the sound of that! Nice one!
What did you end up upgrading your axe and bow to?
Didn’t do anything with the axe, and the bow I just went to +10 on it! Sticky Compound Long Bow is pretty great to make. Lava Bow can be effective with holy and fire arrows :)
@@AshenOneGaming 4:48 you said you leveled it up
@@Xelical ohhh right! Sorry! Yeah I just levelled it up to about +4. I farmed the hoplite slugs from the phalanx arch stone to get a few. But tbh just one or two levels up will help you get through world 4-1 :)
@@AshenOneGaming k. thanks for the quick replies
@@AshenOneGaming one more thing, would picking up the compound longbow be a good idea or should I just upgrade a regular longbow?
Is this new game plus because I don't know where a long bow is or I missed any mention of it
Solid guide, but would be nice to have chapter markers in the video guide
How can you upgrade an axe? I can't even upgrade even though I have enough souls and shards. And the skeleton dies within 5-7 hits with my axe. And I get teamed up by the skeleton.
It would've been nice to know you had to hit a pressure playe behind the reapers tomb area
7:17 this does not work for me. There are enemies to my left and right as soon as i walk in to shoot the old hero or whatever he is called. The dude u snipe.
Is it because i don’t have the thief ring?
You can snipe the second Reaper from the staircase in the cave.
Yeah I love this fact! Co-opers we’re doing it on my stream awhile ago. I’d like to do a ‘tricks I’ve learnt from viewers’ vid and give them all shout-outs
