Official Gamer Sark had his rookie year just like everybody else has, and needs, so maybe with this year under his belt to see how the NFL works, he can make significant strides, because if he doesnt this year, im out on him
Alabama WR Calvin Ridley is rated as the No. 1 player at his position by many draft experts. Even if people don’t rank him as the top WR, everybody seems to agree that he’s the best route runner in the draft. He also has sure hands & exceptional speed that helps him make plays after the catch. The one thing I keep seeing people complain about with Ridley, is his age. As a true Junior, he was 23 years old. He was still in high school when he was 20. To put that into perspective, Juju Smith-Schuster played most of his rookie season with the Steelers at 20. I don’t believe his age should be much of an issue. He still has all the tools to become a star at the next level.

i just picked him up my league after i watched his preseason highlights.... this here is proof he could be amazing in the NFL. he was catching balls that weren't even thrown to him, thats how good he is at finding the ball. waiver wire fire!!!!!!

Quickest way to tell great route runners is that they are all alone walking into endzone wide open. They don't have to fight the defender because he lost the battle out of the break. Bad route runners constantly have contested touchdowns.
In the NFL your statement is true. In college, Ridley is just a better athlete than 90% of the garbage CBs he plays against.

I don't see good route running. I see him being athleticly superior to these garbage acc/sec CBs.
part of the athletic superiority is the subtlety of the route running moves. route running is slight misdirection being where you are suppose be with space and the defender wondering why he took the wrong bus to work today and where did the receiver go.
A receiver may be gifted but if he is consistently having contested catches he does not run good routes being able to gain separation.
DJ Moore is better then Ridley. I'd take Moore over Ridley allday anyday

*SNEAKER HEAD* I like Ridley n I think it's a toss up between the two receivers. Ridley got a little more speed then Moore but Moore breaks tackles n can fight off defenders. That's the part I love about him. I'd take either but in this NFL I'd love to see what Moore can do cause when they play zone coverage on Ridley, his speed is not going to be much of a factor. Moore can catch that ball in the middle and break tackles for gains. I hope my team takes a LB in the 1st then uses its extra 2nd n 3rd round picks to jump back up into the mid/late 1st to draft Moore. Moore is the next Antonio Brown n they actually got Moore ranked as the #1 best WR in the draft over Ridley n Sutton
Not to me. Ridley is better at creating separation with his routes, granted Moore isn't a bad route runner at all. Moore makes more contested catches than Ridley. More is more physical and built better. Ridley is shiftier, Moore is more physical. Moore is a better blocker as well. Before you mention QB, Ridley's QB sucked, but so did Moore, he had 4 different QBs this year and still produced.
