- Tiers lists are our thing, so here's another one.
This time we look over the good factions from the lord of the rings army book.
obviously everything we say is always correct (especially our thoughts on Glorfindel) but please tell us on the comments your thoughts.

The lack of Minas Tirith legions is an absolute crime
Really surprised there's not a defenders of MT list similar to defenders of HD where you take theoden and Gandalf and get mixed army list or something like that

Great tier list, appreciate you doing it. Lothlorien is my favourite faction...which 2 brothers you ask... Haldir and Orophin (those 3 attacks are amazing on 85 points) are my favourite, especially at low point battles. But Rumil is also amazing. All 3 are fun to play with great special rules.
I like running Treebeard (with Merry and Pippin) with a Shire army. They are searching for the Entwives instead of helping Rohan!
Ironically, hobbits lose the forest creature special rule because they follow Treebeard...

Sorry mate, we both work basically full-time don't really have the time to do that and edit and film videos on top, the timestamps are actually super time consuming, only ever had the time to do it on our legions video basically

I completely agree with Khazad-dum and I think the issue is, they are a faction that can be easily fixed. Maybe adding a generic drum hero or a *taskmaster* hero would work, make Balin less points or give him an addition special rule or 3 attacks and 3 wounds.
Ingold/Madril combo is one of the best hero combos in the game. March my shield wall up to middle objective, or the most optimal choke point and challenge your opponent to get you off of it.
Kazad-dum has some really good units: Kings-Champion, Dwarf King kazad-guard and Vault wardens. The regular Warriors are also good. The Army bonus is good but not great (reroll 1 is really good with high strength, and it is also on the heros)
But for some reason they still have a difficult time. 😢
well the reason is pretty obvious, it's the 5" movement and no access to cavalry

for fiefdoms i didn't twig this for ages but duinhirs special rule does actually do something. in a green list with the army bonus duinhir Also gives reroll 1s to himself as well as the black root archers. its like imrahil becoming a banner for himself.
I guess that's something, but also still practically nothing, still doesn't actually effect more than those models in the army unlike every other * rule 😂

legolas can not only win a shooting war on his own, he can win a whole game on his own. Just wounding a leader and winning by 1 vp

Not only is this channel redpilled on the suckage of Glorfindel (and Elrohir) unlike those serious business competitive channels, but also redpilled on the meta value of LINDIR? You guys are next level visionary 4D chess MESBG maestros!
P.S. I actually tried Lindir with Elrond and Lady of Light (a.k.a. "spooky Galadriel") recently at 700 and I gotta admit that magic rez aura stacking with Fortify Spirit and the free Will he grants his boss was pretty sweet against the good old bullshit shutdown magic. That 1 Might really sucks but big E and the LoL has 6 between them so 7 was just fine at 700pts (especially with Foresight)

@@NoobsandMen Both Lindir and Gildor would have slapped so hard with just one more Might point. Having 1 Might should really be reserved for Minor Heroes and stuff like Dunedain Rangers. I would even settle for +1 A on Lindir (makes a lot of sense on a model that can be given Heavy Armour & Horse) but some of the profiles in this game are just nonsensically bonkers without any rhyme/reason. Why the 3 Will on Lindir?
When you do Boz, Banner and single bolt thrower... Do you take swift reload or not?

Why is Glorfindel considered naf? his stats seem good, what am I missing?
He's too expensive and doesn't have any additional killing power, he'll hit a d7+ model and bounce off. When all he's bringing to the table is being a fighting hero and he can't even do that very well, it's bad. Sure he's f7 and very magic resistant but doesn't matter if he can't actually kill the model he wins the fight against

Rohan would be S if they were green with Rivendell so you could take Elrond for the priority

Rohan just needs a f6 hero or two, or a reworked of the fight value system. The f5 meta has killed them honestly.

Arnor really should be higher than hobbits. The horde out potential is insane if you consider almost a 3rd of them will get the save, and the defense and the spears on everyone 🤢
