My brother and I would spend so much money and countless hours in the arcades back in the late 80s and early 90s. One of our favorite games that we would dominate on was WWF Wrestlefest!!! Imma have to disagree. 2k be only having months to create a game. Given that they aren't working for a few months but a bunch of months to a year, the game might have potential.
I'm glad it's such a fruitful time. Competition helps everybody. I really hope that AEW delivers an AKI Corp., USA game on the old AKI engine. It would blow every other game on this list out of the water.
Got to play retromania and talk to the creator of the game at pax east this year. Definitely a fun throwback game and the creator is a huge fan of wrestling so he's definitely trying to give the fans something with his game. Can't wait till it comes out!
I've NEVER watched other promotions or played any wrestling games other than WWF/WWE, but that Ultra Violence game has definitely got a chance for me to give a try.
It Would Be Dope If They Remastered An Old Game Like Smackdown Here Comes The Pain, Smackdown Shut Your Mouth, No Mercy, Svr 2007 or Any Smack Down vs Raw Game For Us To Play
Literally just found out about Ultra Violence from this video, it’s what I’ve always wanted from wrestling games, definitely could be like a Garry’s Mod for wrestling games
I saw that Shad signed on for Virtual Basement. That is awesome that he will be able to take part in one last wrestling game. Hopefully they do it well.
Some interesting looking games the Retromania one looks fun I love that style as I grew up with the mega drive/genesis even though the PlayStation etc was out at the time
It'd be cool if after the next WWE 2K game they continue to release every 2 years. Although if the next game fails that series is probably done for good.
Missing one of the best wrestling game franchises to date in Wrestling Revolution. MDickie is an absolute wizard when it comes to wrestling games, and his new switch game is looking very, very good.
Despite its major glitches, 2k20 has a very fun and well made wrestling game underneath. I'm interested to see what their next title has to offer and whatever the AEW game is going to be. I think if 2k focused on updates and quality games instead of yearly editions, their games could be top notch. Especially with the creation suite they have. If they would implement the ability to use our own music, I'd be happy as can be
Battlegrounds seems like it could be fun just like WWF Wrestlemania the Arcade Game was back on the Sega Genesis. I hope that there will finally be a GM mode when 2k comes out with the next normal WWE game and I hope it has a lot of the Attitude era wrestlers too.
I can't understand why we've never gotten a WCW VS. WWE MONDAY NIGHT WARS game? Clearly that's where all the love and passion still resides for Wrasslin' fans.
I love that a couple of these developers are starting to implement some virtual reality aspects into wrestling games. Looking forward to a full on vr wrestling in the future.

Yuke's could be working on one or two games - A Kinnikuman /Ultimate Muscle next gen title and a NJPW one. I forget when, I think IGN, but I remember reading that an article about WWE 2k19 where Taniguchi mentions wanting to go back to Kinnikuman because of how unrestrictive and creative they could get with the license. For NJPW, they have mentioned in the past how they're open to working with them when the time was right. Who knows? Maybe the time it now.

I'm glad it's such a fruitful time. Competition helps everybody. I really hope that AEW delivers an AKI Corp., USA game on the old AKI engine. It would blow every other game on this list out of the water.
Yes...and with Unreal Engine 5 graphics on PS 5 O_O
@@ManuelMedellin. ???
Great video. But you missed an interesting game: Suplex Saga. It looks really great and innovative
Ultra violence wrestling will be the true ECW hardcore Japanese death match game we've all waited for
You can bet IGN won't even cover, let alone review any of the non-WWWE wrestling games. Excited for Retromania.
God, that Chikara game has been in development for years.
How does nobody love this guy enough to tell him that he's been saying retro wrong his entire life?
Got to play retromania and talk to the creator of the game at pax east this year. Definitely a fun throwback game and the creator is a huge fan of wrestling so he's definitely trying to give the fans something with his game. Can't wait till it comes out!
Smacktalks: There are 9 games currently in development.
Pro Wrestling X: Am I a joke to you?
Community: Yes, yes you are.
Wow this year is going to be good for wrestling games for the nintendo switch 🤩
In general this year is going to be good for wrestling videogames, I think we never had 9 wrestling games in deveploment at the same time
@@franciscoelgamer100real8 yeah bro 👌
I've NEVER watched other promotions or played any wrestling games other than WWF/WWE, but that Ultra Violence game has definitely got a chance for me to give a try.
It Would Be Dope If They Remastered An Old Game Like Smackdown Here Comes The Pain, Smackdown Shut Your Mouth, No Mercy, Svr 2007 or Any Smack Down vs Raw Game For Us To Play
Licensing issues. No point remastering them either cause at best, they will slap new lighting on them and well, more bugs.
Literally just found out about Ultra Violence from this video, it’s what I’ve always wanted from wrestling games, definitely could be like a Garry’s Mod for wrestling games
I think in 2k22 they should have a dlc where you can play a boneyard match
Man looking at ultra violence just goes to show how much opportunity 2k has missed making a wrestling game with insane physics and graphics
Ultra Violence and Chikara got me the most pumped.
Honestly man thank you for the news always really appreciate it
I saw that Shad signed on for Virtual Basement. That is awesome that he will be able to take part in one last wrestling game. Hopefully they do it well.
The AEW news has me the most excited!
Some interesting looking games the Retromania one looks fun I love that style as I grew up with the mega drive/genesis even though the PlayStation etc was out at the time
Hearing you say "retro mania" could make nuns laugh.
Ultra violence phisics looks amazing i really want to see more about that game
I just want a wrestling game with a good creation mode, good gameplay and classic match types especially special guest referee!
Did you know that there is a reference to King Corbin in 2K20? When Baron Corbin enters sometimes you can hear Corey Graves say "All hail".
Damn Right !!!! Retromania all the way!!!!
2K has the chance to create the greatest wrestling game ever with all the time they have, they'd best not drop the ball!
I needs that Retromania in my life.
This is great, I appreciate all of the information and I'm really looking forward to these.
I can't understand why we've never gotten a WCW VS. WWE MONDAY NIGHT WARS game? Clearly that's where all the love and passion still resides for Wrasslin' fans.
Little did you know Yuke's and AEW was the same.
I'm so excited for the AEW Videogames
I love that a couple of these developers are starting to implement some virtual reality aspects into wrestling games. Looking forward to a full on vr wrestling in the future.
Ultra violence reminds me of backyard wrestling 2
1995: The Monday Night Wars
2019: The Wednesday Night Wars
2020: THE WRESTLING VIDEO GAME WARS!!!
Been so sick and tired of The WWE 2K games they really dont care and now we finally have other and more wrestling games coming out god bless dont have to play another wwe 2k game again thanks to all these new releases cant wait!
There is an upcoming mobile game, mainly about the UK scene aswell. So we are up to 11, when you include Wrestling Revolution. Pretty cool stuff.
About time we have OPTIONS on which Wrestling game we wanna play! Alright future wrestling games!!!! You better do it right!!!!
This reminds me of 2014 when we had so many new dinosaur games coming out.
im excited to play as Frightmare in the Chikara game!
I'm interested in the Virtual Basment and Aew and Yuke's because they have never did a bad wrestling game that I know of .
Ultra violence looks excellent
Virtual Basement's Untitled Wrestling Game & AEW will fill the void for me until WWE 2K comes out in 2021
Yuke's could be working on one or two games - A Kinnikuman /Ultimate Muscle next gen title and a NJPW one.
