Toch jammer dat ik 25 jaar geleden het verkeerde beroep heb gekozen...... Dit ziet er allemaal zo mooi uit om te doen.
Nice oldies without beard :)
Thanks !
Greetings from the Napa Valley CA Another great video. That movement was a mess. good advice about taking back cover off to see what you are in for. Can't blame the hair on the pallet fork on you. so good to see a real professional at work. That really inspires me to move forward. Still setting my work bench up and now looking into a microscope with a camera so I can remember how to reassemble things and be able to see what i'm doing. Thanks and have a great day.
Great job!!!
Thank you very much. Your video and explanations are very nice to disintegrate a 3135 Rolex movement.
Hello Kalle what have you done with your beard !? Lol More seriously thanks a lot for your vidéos and all the advises you give us.
fascinating as always‼️®™️ ☑️☑️
RUclips algo really should have suggested your channel to me, weird it never did.
Great content! Cant wait to see you live on tuesdays
Spread the word Thomas, LOL ;o)
@@ChronoglideWatchmaking I’m trying ;) I sent you a PM on Facebook, hope to help
I suggest: Do you want people to put Nestlé baby soap in your mouth?. People have to look for iot if they are interested in , and its not difficuklt to find it, the prove is Iam here, Sorry.
By the way I prefer Delta strong coffe.
Totally agree. I have been watching this kind of stuff for years, and I've only just found this channel.
What a poor thing. This is a great video to know what to look and check when buying a used rolex or watche. Thanks for sharing 👌
💯 top!
Seems more ogers had previously touched that one...maybe wrong amount and type of oils and poorly reassembled that kept it unfit for water contact...but the owner kept watering it anyway?
Wow, so much damage. I can't believe this watch is only 11yrs old. I'm not a Rolex fan, and I was on the verge of criticising them, but this looks more like the fault of the previous "watchmaker". I have Seiko's from the 60's & 70's, that still look perfect.
Amazing isn't it Andrew?
I'm guessing it never left the owners wrist and he operates a jackhammer for a living.
LOL, aaahhhhh, that might be it!!
jackhammer operator dont use rolex..But thats a good excuse for the suspicious olex quality.
Good lord. What did the previous owner do to that poor Turn-o-graph. 11 years old and it looks in worse shape than my fathers 30 year old datejust.
LOL, so true!
I have here a watch with more than 50 years of abuse and probably lack of services, , and it didnt took much to put it working, iam not sure if it would happen the same with an olex.
Recently discovered your channel. Really enjoy the videos! - However, I would like to see these watches being put back together, not just the teardown.
All the new videos have shots of the end result. older clips don't have it, sorry about that. More coming up!
Agree. I am a master at taking them apart, lol and love to see assembly process. Love the videos!! Look forward to them!
Wow that movement is filthy.wondering if some of that crud is tiny metal shavings from automatic rotor.
Can you tell me if there's a place I can purchase movement holders like the one you used for this 3135 movement?maybe even a set of them that'll work with the more common sized movements?I'll personally more than likely will never work on anything other than seiko movements(mainly nh35a and nh36)along with sellita sw200's and eta 2824-2 movements being that's what all my automatics have powering them.been told its better to use these style holders especially when reseting hands rather then using movement holder like the bergeon 4040-P synthetic adjustable holder that I have.is that actually true or is the holder I have sufficient enough for the average hobbiest such as myself?
It is possible with a generic movement holder, but specific tools are recommendable Richard.
I use an wood holder made by mayself..
That watch was heavily abused. Look at the stretch in the bracelet.
Or maybe it is its own quality. There is no side play in that rotor, its literally falling apart ..
as a mechanic yes it makes sense.i will buy a rolex for 25 buks, they are crap.-after 10 years they don need a clean they need a complete rebuild.crap
Ah a mechanic, excellent!
