Has anyone actually made this? All the comments are about his video, not the actual recipe. I tried it, but it was SO overpowering with the heat of ginger. I made a 2nd batch with no ginger or garlic and added it, hoping to calm it down, but it did not have that nice, mild and sweet taste of Edo. Any ideas?
Exactly what I was looking for! You and your channel are going places we really enjoyed the vid!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Really appreciate it and hope you stay tuned :)
I ate this religiously when I worked at Consumers Distributing in the Pickering Town Center during the early 90's.

Vendan la flota esa de zucchinis de tos colores . Inviértanlos en Cali.
As an edo cook I disagree how he made all this. I'm not hating but why did he use soy sauce to the beef, we use green butter for that.
EDO seems to use a wasabi based sauce on the meat when they start to cook it
f-off with the music! otherwise not bad video
Very different from sukiyaki, the ingredints and the way you cook it is way way far from sukiyaki
What recipe do you use?? There is no Edo Japan where I live and would like an almost exact recipe..
I like turtles
