So you choose the perfect yarn and perfect crochet hook, then you just teach us this amazing stitch as easy as 2+2 with a smooth voice...for real, this is what I needed to learn how to crochet and relax.
Thank you for an easy listening tutorial. Right speed, very clear instructions - one of the best. I look forward to learning more from you. Lovely stitch, BTW.
👍 I was searching for an easy first Tunisian crochet scarf and coming upon this one really made me very happy. The directions and video very clear and precise. I truly love it and cannot wait to start my scarf! Thank you!!!
Your details are so clearly presented and your voice is warm and cheerful. I’ve enjoyed doing Tunisian crochet for a number of years but have never seen this stitch before. Am going to choose some yarn from my stash and begin a scarf right now. Thank you!
You make such beautiful work and are so easy to follow. The first time I viewed your channel you spoke in German but you were still easy to follow along. Thank you
You are so clear in your instruction, made it so easy for me to follow and understand. I love the choice of yarn. I am a novice in Tunisian crochet. I do crochet, have for years but I never tried this method. I look forward to following your tutorials.
Well done! Thank you for such a clear demonstration. You also give me a broader idea of what is Tunisian crochet. Not just some specific needle but moving back and forth without turning the work. I hope that is right. ♥️
Your a great tutor. This was in my recommendations in German. The fact that I dont speak a word of German but was still able to understand exactly what you were doing shows what a fantastic tutor you are! 👍
Fae Browne - I did the same with a video that was only in Spanish ! But the video was so clear and easy to follow, I completed the project. Because my Spanish only extends to “ Mucho Grande Margarita, por favor “. 🍹
I have bamboo tunisian hooks..alas they don't seem to have enough of a bight to use it the way you do, so when I tried this stitch I pulled it up enough to then get the hook under and complete..lovely stitch..
I absolutely love this stitch. I have only just started to Tunisian Crochet and so this will make a lovely addition to include in my personal stitch collection. The scarf looked beautiful and I will definitely be having a go at this at some time in the future. Thank you for putting up this tutorial on RUclips.xxx
Thank you so much for this, and other beautifully done tutorials! Your teaching is very clear and I have learned a lot from you in a short time! This stitch was exactly what I was looking for to use with Tunisian crochet simple stitch, and purl stitch (made up pattern), for the scarf I am making❤
I watched this video and saved it in my Library. Today, I was searching for one stitch to make a headband and... tadaaa! this nice stitch was the perfect one. Thank you!

I am a beginner and the only stitch I was doing was the simple stitch. I didn’t start with a chain though, I casted on as I do for knitting. I find that easier and it saves a step.
So pretty! I used an odd number of starting chains and it worked fine as well. I assume you can also space out the rib columns, if you want? So something like simple stitch three times, then the rib stitch, repeat?
Great job. Twisted simple st. I believe is the 2nd st. Tss ,Ttss. Is that a t-shirt yarn? Those are fantastic for showing stitch definition! If you aren't sure there's a little book called Tunisian Stitch Dictionary.
Great tutorial! Could you please show the back of the pattern? I love the front of Tunisian stitches, but the backsides aren't always so pretty for some projects.
