The warmer the weather gets the better the scenery gets. And the more people drank the more we laugh with them not at them we would never do that. HAHAHA
On super deep v hulls like that concept and formulas and contenders you cant back the trailer all the way down itll never center the boat. Trailer should have front of fenders dry and front bunk out of water and you drive the boat up the trailer. Otherwise your just trying to drop a triangle in a square and hoping it lands centered
I think you where on to something with the big fountain having training problems. Looks like some of the more higher dead rise deep V hulls have trouble getting on center around this ramp. Bunk set up can really make the whole situation so much better.
100% I think the pitch of the ramp is a little to steep for the larger deep boats. Then again I’ve watched a 47 Freeman and 39 YellowFin Trailer with ZERO issues. Kind of has me wondering.
how do you own a big twin engine boat and not know the bunk has to be some what out of the water and you have to drive up on the bunk for the boat to fall into the center i guess they just buy a 30 foot boot as first boat ?
It's still floating when they pull. The boat isn't really on the trailer. They need to reel it onto the trailer first. That starts with it not being backed that far down the ramp.
I am not a boater, but can somebody please explain to me why some of these folks have a $100,000 boat and a $5,000 tow vehicle? I mean, you drive the truck every day and the boat once in a while. Seems like you would start with a nice truck/suv and then buy the boat!
I load and unload my own boat alone about 98% of the time with zero issues and I may fish 130 plus days a year and never have these simplest of issues that a 10 year old could do .
Part of the problem with that one is they had their motors turned so every time they back downo matter how many times it kept pushing the back of the boat to the left
Spent father's day today at the ramp and man I've never seen so many clueless idiots. Took over 30 minutes to get 5 boats out on a 2 lane ramp. From the time I started backing up until we were pulling off the ramp was less than 2 minutes. Back in, wet the bunks, pull up to the proper depth and drive that puppy on the trailer and get out of the lane. You'd think it was rocket science.
@@TheBigDanShow We're at Norris Lake in Tennessee. Beautiful lake, but they were out in full force today. Took a bass boat 10 minutes to get on the trailer because they were in too deep and had ole boy the jumping on the fender pushing down on starboard🤣 I think I could save a lot of gas just sitting at the ramp drinking a cold one and laughing all day.
The access ramp is wet because most drivers do not pause when the boat is out of the water. Let the water drain before going up so as not to soak the ramp. Elementary but ignored by all these zozos.
Wating the big dan show from Hamilton ,Ontario, Canada. I also watch another guy from Black Point Marina his name is alfred montanier called The Chit Show. Same kinda content.
Hey Dan .. I just wanted to say what a great job you're doing and I really enjoy the Big Dan Show. I watch that idiot Captain Crunch who is so unprofessional and a disgrace. Keep up the good work buddy!!
The most frequent fail on loading the boat back on the trailer is putting the trailer in too deep. Deep is ok when you are launching but not loading! Keep about a third of the bunk out of the water and drive the boat up the trailer. It’s not hard to do.
back it down let some slack out push off trailer a bit pull up so bunks are abit out of water then wench it back up and let the bunks do the work of centering you on the trailer !
it is mind boggling how ignorant people are when it comes to picking up a boat on the trailer! even when I was a kid at 17 yrs old with my first boat I can stay I never had to stand overboard in chest high water to try and seat the boat on the trailer...haha!
It seems 95 percent of the problem of getting these boats square on a trailer would be solved with four tight, well placed guide-ons and better placed bunks or skids. Especially on longer or wider boats, with a trailer well submerged, the owners have zero idea where the trailer is in relation to the boat and vice versa. Beyond that, it seems ludicrous to trailer larger boats. Pick a body of water and stick to it - moor or dock your boat there. The things that can go wrong with trailering and the extra wear and tear on a large expensive boat don't seem worth it. And I haven't even gotten to the constant idiocy of boat launch action.
So many goofballs back the trailer in up to the hitch...of course they are going to have problems. The boat will load itself if you give it enough trailer. PARTICULARLY for the custom trailers. Every trailer a little different but start with leaving at least 5' of the bunks above water. Usually can do more than this. Man this is depressing. Show me you don't know anything about helming a boat by your ramp skills.
I bet the be dan has made mistakes before!! And made an ass of himself at the dock before!! I watch your show but only seen u dock once amd it wasnt great!
Ignorance . If your backing down and I’m driving the boat I need you to be partially in the water with trailer and is I go on you come back slowly as I met the winch roller without my boat floating I need it heavy on the trailer it’s not rocket science . I have been able to load any boat my family has from flat bottoms to big ski boats and I n between with and without guided running boards since I was about 8 years old and could back the trailer down the ramp if I could reach the pedals on the vehicle .
It just gets better and better.
Thanks Dan
Thanks
Hey Dan…just remember you have the best scenery at home. Your wife is gorgeous ! ❤. Another awesome video. Thank you!
Oh I know 😘
As always, your drone footage just really sets your channel apart from the rest. Great job!
I appreciate that!
My hat goes off to that Expedition for hauling/towing all that dead weight. And I'm not just talking about the boat either 😅
🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣
Another great video and that one scraba with the twin motors definitely need some lesson on putting boat on trailer.
For sure!
Not me screaming at the screen " Crank the damn boat up and put it on the trailer" 😂🤣😂
Hahahaaa
Videos like this are why I launch before daylight.
Hahaaa
Dude in white truck was like the people taking 2 spaces at Walmart to park
😂😂
Drives me NUTZZZ
baldwincountyal.gov/community/boat-launches/south-boat-launches
Per the county website it's a 6 lane boat launch. Fan of the channel.
I never knew watching people do this would be so entertaining lol keep up the good vids Dan
Thanks my friend
Keep your trailer fender tops at about the waterline & POWER ON. No problem.
That Definitely Helps!

👌👌👌👌
Boat action is good but the scenery can be spectacular
Agreeeed!
The bunks on that trailer must be screwed up, no reason it would be that hard to get the boat on the trailer straight!!!
That’s what I’m thinking.

Freeman being a cat is a different beast. A very wonderful beast.
dang, what kind of lens do you have for those closeups?
Sony 70-200
Why you wanna see a fight big Dan? What's the deal? I mean really?
@6:12 I have never seen twin engines steer opposite of each other like that. What's going on there?
Joystick control
Afight before the end of the night - and a divorce or two!! Dan, this may be your best video yet!
lol thanks friend

Lol more money then brainz
The phrase "launch deep, retrieve shallow" applies here more than ever.
7:18 Maybe no fight at the ramp but some pretty tense rides home.
Oh yeah
By the way love the show watching from utah
Thanks my friend

...for, reasons.
😝

What do you use for a drone?
Mini 4 Pro

D, do you have an FAA license to operate your drone, there is a huge fine to operate a drone for monetary gain without a license?
Dan knowing when to bring the drone out
👁️ I know what the people want.
Damn Right! It's 3 lane Ramp for God's sake!
👌👌
Per county website, the ICW is a 6 Lane not 9 Lane as some are stating
@@BigGirl-kc2vp well, I’ve seen 9 people launch quickly, effectively, and without issue more than a dozen times. 🤷♂️
As long as you're not a "GOOGAN " there are no issues!

The white boat at 7:20 has its motors steering in opposite directions-???
Joystick control. Helps with docking (if you know how to use it) 🤣
Someone needs to open a boat trailering academy.
She is not going to let that drink get out of her hand no matter what.
Lol

I started feeling sorry for the boat 😂
lol.

Good ol' lane five and a half.
🤣🤣
They cranked the bow down too much before they had it straight on the trailer.
Good point
Thank GOD for zoom😂😂
lol 😝
Amazing how many can't dock a boat, put it on a trailer, or back up!!!!
Are trailer guides not a thing in AL?
Some don’t
The people sitting in that blue trimmed boat were TOTALLY worthless. Weren't helping at all.

Welcome
Dan, Do you pay these people to put on this show of expert boat and trailer handling?
Lmao. Man I’d go broke 🤣🤣
My old daddy can put his boat in and never get wet. Some of these guys wade out to there chest to get it back on the trailer LMFAO.
Problem for that center console is that the 4 bumpers are in the cockpit and the boob is sitting in front seat.
lol

Either that trailer isn’t adjusted correctly or it is absolutely wrong for that boat.
there trailers are in too deep
Why do the owners not just mark out the lanes , who help out stupid 😂
Youre putting the trailer too far in the water when you drive the boat onto it. Easy peasy !!!!
Has anyone come up to you and asked you to delete footage you have of them?
😊
Only one person he was a lawyer. He gave me a case of beeeeer. I said I’ll ALWAYS have this if I need an attorney 😂🤪
@@TheBigDanShowbeer get your stomack sick, why would you do that
My question as a old man how in the world especially today do these young people afford those boats and the new truck to pull it with ?????
They don't own the boat or the towing vehicle, the BANK owns them and those fools pay the bank for years to do it..
2:00 A gorgeous blue boat being pulled by an ugly red car. Sad.
Lol
jfc that was painful
some people just don't a boat
Sea hunt using the joystick to load on the trailer..and still can't do it.
Exactly. These rich folks get the joystick because they are sold on ease of use. Smh
Why would someone with a boat that big walk it on instead of powering it on the trailer? Makes no sense!!!!!
Beats the heck out of me lol. Someone on Facebook probably told them it’s a Sin to Powerliad 😂
What in the world is going on lol
😂
“You’re in too deep”. The boat ramp is the only time you’ll ever hear those words spoken by a woman.
Ain’t no doubt!
🤦♂
Is troublemaker
why these tool bags figure out it is a TRIPLE ramp
Ill challenge you on camera if i win you never record again!
