That was very emotional for me. It felt like you knew exactly what I was feeling. All the despair and hopelessness came out.
    Thank you ❤

I'm so glad this helped you to release some of those feelings. I've been in that place myself during my recovery, I understand how tough it can be. Releasing these feelings I found was a real turning point. Sending you love and light in your recovery ❤️

    Rachel what about meditation?
How do you compare guided meditation with EFT?
I have been listening guided meditation with Joe Dispenza

Hi Edith, They're both useful. If you can easily visualise and really feel the meditations and it feels good when you're doing it then it's a great addition to your healing regime. I use a lot of visualisation in my client work alongside EFT and it's great for building hope, lowering stress levels in the body, but also practiced regularly can change neural pathways. EFT is amazing for clearing and processing emotions and trauma, lowering stress levels, and it's super power really is how portable it is. You can literally calm your body around other people while you're talking to them. I find some of my clients can't do meditations so EFT is a great for them. I work with a lot of people with PTSD and childhood trauma and I can't clear that just using meditation - I have to use a somatic tool like EFT to enable them to process it. I hope that answers your question. ❤❤❤

Is it possible to do this on your own? I have such a complicated story, so many facets and my nervous system is such a mess and the ptsd is debilitating and absolutely no faith in myself. I now feel my body is developing autoimmune from the stress. I also had to have 2 colonoscopies recently, the second one more complicated and I refused sedation for other reasons. I’ve been much worse since. I could go on but it might not be appropriate here. I hope it’s ok to ask. I just want to get better so desperately. Thank you

Hi Katy, It's totally okay to ask. You can do a lot on your own for sure. You can start to regulate your nervous system using EFT on your own immediately. And I would definitely recommend doing that - you can go a long way with just using EFT in this way. Tapping and breathing for 10 minutes twice a day. Everytime you tap you're sending a calming signal to your mind and body. I have a few EFT videos on this channel which many of my clients have started with and made some progress - ruclips.net/p/PL0CozkNgcxUwZG59QFVS8m5CsraWBrmXE. I share some of the things I did and some meditations in that playlist. Once I started to regulate through daily tapping, I found there came a point when I needed to take things to the next level and get some help to address the overwhelm of everything I was dealing with. Getting assistance makes it faster, find different more effective ways of doing it, but also another person can help you find the things you can't see or that are too overwhelming to work on by yourself. I hope that helps. The main thing is just to start. ❤❤❤

@@rachelAO Thank you so much for all this. Do you think I should also tap on those procedures I had? I was so scared but grit my teeth, but still it’s like they hurt my nervous system more. Any tips on how to tap on them if so. Thank you and I hope I’m not taking liberties asking so much x
