"you don't need entertainment, just close your eyes and imagine a better life"
I love Spencer
Legend!
"You'll still live". Wise words. Wise words.
Spencer be Spencin'
Paused the video to laugh at this!
If Spencer ever stops being a dick, we'll know he's been replaced with a clone!
"So, do you have any regrets?"
"Garfield, maybe"
@Marion Hinzman but she probably knows Garfield... Idk. It's a fun dumb movie, I don't think its one to get hung up on the little stuff.
also, as far as I know Bill Murray only voiced Garfield, his face does not appear in the movie. So it’s absolutely plausible that the girl would know the movie but not the actor behind the cat
This urban legend was perpetuated when a science teacher in Maine kept one atop his chalkboard for 30 years. Although the Twinkie turned rather brittle, the teacher claimed the Twinkie sill appeared fresh and edible.
Prediction: Joel Schumacher will make a zombie movie, completely destroy the genre for 10 years, then Christopher Nolan will fix it and we'll start the cycle all over again.
I feel your pain Dan nobody realizes how long these videos take to put together and how much work goes into them. Plus being that you follow movies for a living, not considering the fact that you plan things ahead of time around upcoming release dates for movies and that you have done this before revisiting the first movie when a sequel is about to be released.
The thing is that if you've been following these channels for any length of time, it should become obvious how it works. It's either a very recent movie soon after being put on video or something related to a movie coming out. They're playing the RUclips search results because people will be searching on those things.
Marc Ferrari was the guitarist for Keel (an 80’s metal band). He later played the guitarist for Tia Carere’s band in Wayne’s World. Cool that he found a way to earn a paycheck.
I literally was about to say "Is it Memento?" before Dan spoke...
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, maybe?
@@einootspork finding dory.
Honest trailer for Interview with The Vampire!
Brad Pitt’s inexplicable accent in that movie could have an honest trailer all it’s own
Ooo, Interview with the Vampire could have such a crazy honest trailer. I wish they did that.
On the Bill Murray thing, I'd compare it more to "Being John Malkovich." I'm not sure literally any other actor could have successfully pulled off what Bill Murray did in "Zombieland."
"We already did Memento." Dan get out of my head!
"You think you might pull through?"
**looks at Columbus** "No."
Bill is just too good in the little bit he had.
*long dying exhale
*chuckle
@@Jack-sy8mr you forgot the second long exhale after he takes a breath... lol
12:12 It's a zombie "Alan!"
The Twinkie myth started because it was believed that the better something tastes, the worse it must be and so they had no actual food in them but they do and have a shelf life of around 25 days. And a science teacher in Maine kept one on top of his chalkboard for 30 years! At that point the Twinkie was brittle but he claimed that it appeared fresh and edible.
I said momento and dan said “we already did momento” lol
'Memento'
Yeah i immediately think Memento
my question is,have you gone your whole life thinking that movie is called momento?
cause thats pretty cool
@@snuffmeister6720 that's why I tried to correct him
have they done eternal sunshine of the spotless mind?
I think the idea is that Twinkies are pretty much all chemicals and preservatives made people assume they'd last forever.
I love how profound and dark Spencer goes out of the blue sometimes. Next week, total recall?
1990 or 2012, though?
@@keithduthie 1990 I hope. It's a more interesting movie. 2012 was too bland.
I wish y’all were doing Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind but we all know that won’t make it to trending.
Danielle rocked those bangs!
Danielle looking like black Velma with the bangs :D I LOVE IT!
"Cowboy curt ass" floored me! I bet Lawrence Fishburn would laugh. Seeing as he played Cowboy Curtis on Peewee's playhouse.
I'll keep asking for "Big Trouble in Little China"
YES!!! i thought i was the only one! PLEASE DO BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA!
No clue can ever rival the one for Far From Home lol :)
I haven't watched Screen Junkies/ Fandom in a while. Turned it on and the first thing I thought is "Danielle has a cute new outfit!:
I'll be upset when Cinema Sins and Honest Trailers make the same week Jean-Luc Goddard's "Pierrot le fou"
Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle is a comedy movie that came out more than tens years after the original and that was good
surprised (and approve) that danielle says 'fringe'. she looked cute! we all had one in the mid-late 2000s
Hey, Danielle manages to be cute af with AND without bangs. THAT is talent!
Lon made a Kendall Roy reference and you sold me.
Mark Ferrari also co-wrote songs with Pantera, guested on their fourth album, Power Metal, & performed with them live quite often in that era
Next is V for Vendetta? "Remember Remember the 5th of November" which is soon
Svenhard's pastries appear to be apocalypse proof. Found one in the glove compartment of our boat that was in great shape after more than a year. No one was brave enough to try it, but it looked and smelled just like a new one.
Please an Honest Trailer for Charlie Angel's pleaseeeee
They should do both movies before the reboot comes out
"We already did Memento"
I legit thought for a split second that Dan was talking directly to me!
Can you guys do Rick and Morty before Season 4 premieres in November?
Benjamin Abramowitz *MUST DO*
sasuke uchiha the fanbase is toxic but it’s not toxic to like something to a normal extent.
I'm glad to see y'all have observed also that no comedy sequel past 10 years has ever been good.
I think the twinkie-apocolypse thing started on an old episode of Family Guy, it could've been somewhere before but that's where I first heard it
It was an urban legend before Seth McFarlane was born.
I remember reading a magazine when I was a kid that had the world record for the oldest twinkie. A teacher left one on his desk for like 40 years to show that they never went bad. I’m sure it went stale after like two days though
In Die Hard there are a lot of jokes about twinkies but one particularly relevant line was ''This thing tastes fouler than a thousand year old twinkie'' & I wonder if that subliminally put the idea in people's minds of them lasting forever?
Wow. That is amazingly ignorant. You know, just because you heard it there first, doesn't mean that it originated there.
It pre-dates the 1980's...when I was a kid the everlasting twinkie was a thing
The real joy of this episode: Danielle's outfit. That colour coordination, the beautiful yellow skirt! ❤❤❤
SPENCER: Never been a, uh, Comedy sequel that came out -- let's say, ten years afterwards that was ANY good.
ME: *cough, cough* "CLERKS II" *cough*
Danielle's laugh at the end gave me life. Also please do Hellboy (2019).
This evaluation on a fun and spreaded out film is awesome for know how it's kinda weird with its adventure. Keep it up!
Just finished watching this and my dad, who works in a 5 star hotel in Florence, sends me a photo of a personalized Bill Murray autograph as he’s a guest there. That’s crazy!
I like that honest trailers doesn't rip everything to shreds if its good it's good and you can celebrate that as well
3:47 I don't see a problem in the sisters having different place names ... the Emma Stone character is quite a few years older - the family could have lived in Wichita then moved to Little Rock before the Abigail Breslin character was born. In Zombie Britain, I'd be Crystal Palace and my sisters would be Market Harborough and Bromley.
Zombieland came out at the hight of the OMG no more twinkies “mania” so they capitalized on it by making it Woody’s quest, plus the whole apocalypse troupe
Alea Lytle this movie came out in 2009, and hostess went bankrupt in 2012.
Not sure how a script written in 2007 managed to take advantage of something what wouldn’t happen for three years after the movie came out.
psychoboyaw I wasn’t sure about the dates so that’s my mistake as I thought the bankruptcy was earlier. There were rumblings before but you are correct that the official bankruptcy wasn’t until after the move came out.
Something I may or may not remember.....IS IT MY CHILDHOOD??
When Spencer dropped that clue, I was like, "It's not Memento, right? theyve done that already" XD
But what is it though? A walk to remember? Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind? 50 first dates?
The Lion King (2019)? It's a thing we remember!
People remember Hocus Pocus. So it could be that.
Total Recall
Eternal Sunshine would be great, if a little unlikely.
Michael Campbell, that would be great. The 1990 one
"Close your eyes and imagine a better life." Fantastic.
She looks really cute with bangs
She does!
DANGIT DAN! I'm already horrible at this game, and you took away the one guess I had :(
Danielle, you looked amazing! Don't be ashamed!
Stand up comics in the 70's used to talk about twinkies, security cameras in 7-11 guarding twinkies ..might have started there
At the end, Memento was my very first thought so that line was right on cue.
You addressed my comment! Thanks y'all.
Screw the poles, that was a great Billy Joel reference.
Next week is what we do in the shadows. Post credits scene has taika’s character trying to hypnotize the audience into forgetting the movie. Also jojo rabbit coming out so it makes sense.
Can’t wait to watch , I had such a great time meeting you guys at New York comic con
well if spencer was upset about bill murray in this movie, i'd love to hear his thoughts on 'being john malkovitch'
A team full of writers couldn't figure out how two siblings can call two different cities home (which is how the names originally started).
I just want a 2005 "War of the Worlds" honest trailer. Please and thank you
You did MOMENTO, but did you do blank slate, the OG detective who cant remember his previous day? You should definitely do blank slate
That Starring section is literally one of the best y'all have come up with!
Good comedy sequels that came out more then ten years later are the Wet Hot American Summer Netflix shows. Yes, they are shows, but they are functionally 4 hour long movies.
The first two character names were where they were going, not where they were from...
We need Bill Murray's resurrection! Of course we need it!
I’m hoping that Spencer’s “Remember” hint will be for my favorite movie of all time V For Vendetta
May or may not remember... Remember...
*Checks mental calendar*
Damn
Didn't family guy had an apocalypse episode where they were looking for food and end up at a twinkies factory
Thanks Dan, I was thinking “They already did Memento didn’t they?”
Are you doing an honest trailer for The Alamo? 🤣
"...zombies AND pink eye..."
Nice South Park reference
Cash has not gone away. Nothing is stopping you from carrying cash, Spencer.
The Girl With all the Gifts is a zombie movie with an interesting spin on the genre that I think everybody should watch.
Do we have to get a Spaceballs 2 movie before we can get a Spaceballs honest trailer?
How do you honest trailer it tho? It's an honest trailer for itself basically 😅
Not gonna lie, quite liked Danielle in bangs!
Nice clue. Now I have to search if honest trailers did Total Recall. No I wanna hear trailer voice say “get your ass to Mars.”
El Paso would be my Zombieland name & it would be the best name EVER! I live in Boise now....not the best name 😞
I'd rather call someone Boise than El Paso...
This trailer is funny. I enjoy zombieland it's a fun movie.
I'm just gonna say the Twinkie thing started with The Simpsons, where Apu says "silly customer, you cannot hurt a Twinkie." That's my guess.
Billy Barnett It started with Die Hard
Awww... Reedit and put in the Billy Joel credit. Also, I think you guys need to Honest Trailer "Akira".
i love your vids each of them make my day tysm :)
One cut of the Dead is one of my favorite movies this year. It's on shudder , don't look into it just watch. It's totally worth it!!
Are they going to do that movie where the guy forgets the previous day? I think momento was one, but there have been others.
The idea that Twinkies last forever came about due to the fact that they were always seemed to be on store shelves.
26:05 When Dan loses it
You should do Garth Marenghi's Darkplace. It's only six episodes and you can only find them on RUclips. It's hilarious and has a colt following but most people just don't know about.
I'm pretty sure the first time I heard the Twinkie theory was in Michael Pollan's book In Defense of Food.
Spencer gives the hint for the next honest trailer.
Me: Oh it's Memento.
Dan: We already did Memento.
Me: Fuck.
666M subs congrats!
Hostess was out of production for 6 months in 2012
Danielle is from Seattle!!! Danielle and jeremey!!! Nice!!!!
I would argue Super Troopers 2 would buck the sequel trend mentioned. Though a slightly different animal than blues brothers 2000 and dumb and dumber to, at 17 years after the original it is worthy of a mention
Why would Little Rock and Witchita have the same name? Did you think Little Rock was the last name? The names are just cities to call them so that the groups doesn’t get too attached to each other while still being able to communicate effectively.
In honor of 50 years of Scooby Doo, can you guys do the two Scooby Doo movies from the early 2000s?
I had those kind of bangs my whole life (since I was a toddler), and that when was I actually grew them out. LOL
I was half a second away from saying "Memento" at the clue.
"el Camino was good." Are you freaking kidding me?
Dan's Dustin Hoffman sounds more like Michael Pitt's Mason Verger
They totally forgot about Anchorman 2 when they were talking about comedy sequels that came out years later
Nope. They said, Sequels that came out years later that were "any good". Anchorman 2 doesn't qualify.
The original twinkie had a shelf life of 25 days. In 2012 they added stronger preservatives increasing it to 45 days. Ya, not the food of an apocalypse!
Joe Dirt 2 makes Zoolander 2 look like a masterpiece.
Please do that god awful Anna Luc Besson movie
