I have one but it is difficult to clean. The pump gets gunk in all the crevasses and there's gunk at the bottom where the filter attaches. It's difficult to clean those areas.
@JM-ku8ek This is extremely easy to clean even of you donit weekly. There is zero slime and even if there is a little bit of it it is incredibly easy to run under water and wipe away. Nothing about it is a problem.
I just received mine today. I like it a lot but I'm concerned with the cable being immersed in water. Is that safe I wonder? Also they don't seem to sell the pump foam filter on Amazon.
I have not had any issues with it, but honestly, that is how all the pet fountains work. To me, it is just like a fish tank pump or a fountain pump you see outside. As for the foam filter, when I ordered a new filter pack it came with the foam pump filter too. If you need one between filter changes maybe you can contact the company or just find a similar foam on Amazon and cut it to size.

Bottom line is this, every fountain on the market is terrible. This one is a plastic piece of crap with a better filter then the others. I have a pile bad fountains. This one should have a ceramic base and a high quality stainless steel spout & drinking area.
Then why aren't you making one that is so much better? That's the real question. This fountain is extremely easy to clean and there is NOTHING about it being plastic that is going to render my cat incapacitated. lol 😅😅😅😅😅

How long are you waiting to clean it? Would cleaning more frequently prevent the gunk buildup?

Personally I don't know of any pet fountain that is not plastic or have plastic parts.
