Update! I filled the humidifier about 3/4th of the way to the top and had it running at a low/medium setting. It lasted a full night with tons more water to spare in the morning.
Thanks! We just got the same unit also. It's my 3rd humidifier. The other two brands were awful to clean. Hoping by your suggestion of bottled/distilled water and also the cleaner design this won't be the case.
I think it should be! I forgot to mention but I have a hot water kettle and ever since using reverse osmosis water, there has been absolutely 0 calcium build up on it. When I used tap water and filtered fridge water, I would clean it so often and get tons of deposits on it. I imagine humidifiers to be the same in that aspect.
