@@DanHendriksenGolf Hi, I did play well actually, mostly thanks to your vid and where the best 'misses' are. We won our match and Saunton won 5:1 overall. Great day, great course, great views and good result. Many thanks
I was laughing listening to James blowing out of his arse down the camera while videoing on the last green of this part 🤣 ! Must have been a bit of a hill he sliced his second on to lol Great course , great vlog , top lads to watch !
Love St Enodoc, played it last summer with brother and sister in-law. The 6th is very daunting when stood on the tee and the bunker is huge when stood in it. Great vlog again.
Played the course once years ago as a 19 handicapper, never looked like breaking 100 (and didn't) and on my own, remember the 6th hole (the Himalayas) took 3 shots to get out of the bunker !! I did manage a couple of pars eventually, it is probably the hardest course I've played and the certainly the best.
Played this course in early March, this year, in a 45mph gale…. an utter brute. But it is the very best that Cornwall has to offer. Has to be played at least twice as your first round will be a voyage of discovery ! Your next round will be better, for sure. Great video, as always, Dan. Looking forward to the rest of the match.
Great course. I was given a very good tip years ago about chipping from very steep downhill lies, like James' at the 6th. As can be seen, it is very hard to get a suitable stance, because your feet are at very different levels. So, stand face-on to the hole, toes pointing directly to the hole/ target, feet more-or-less together and the ball alongside to the right of you (right handed golfer) - so both feet plus the ball are more-or-less at the same level. It seems weird, however if you try it out around the practice chipping green for a short while, you will soon see that it is not that hard, and it works. Good luck!
Excellent format, on a course that looks beautiful but on the tricky side of tricky. Mince running was a treat to see as were some lovely comments from Paul as in how does a man with a tour bag, with his name on it, get shots.
I have driven passed this wonderful picturesque gem of a course so many times, I need to actually play it one day! Great vlog, top notch 4 ball, pretty darn amazing!
Another great start to the week love St enedoc good to see Mr twitchard back on the channel some very good golf played on a very tough course Well done dhg Thanks 👍
Intro music made me smile and think about police shows from the 80s! Tough deal with the handicaps 😃 First word that comes to mind when I watch Lester is definitely sensible 😉Glad to see you’re all feeling better after your bouts with covid 👍🏻 Course looks amazing and that dune on 6 is awesome!!
That looks a tough course and then to be met by greens that are so difficult to read, never mind get close. Favourite throwaway comment, James with the Dead sheep, still ewe 😂. Well played boys, looks like a tough day at the office this one.
Great golf gentlemen. I played St Enodoc about 20 years ago on a windy April day. Still wake up in a cold sweat thinking about the round. Such an amazingly tough golf course. You have to plot your way around and have an amazing putting day to score round there. Great vlog as always.
Great vlog again guys - thought Forest Gump film had been edited in on the fourth 😂😂 Love this course , an absolute gem but yeah ……. It’s hard ! Fantastic part of the world though👍
Looks cracking track.. funniest comment Dans brother, so you’re getting 8 shots then… followed closely by Dan laughing when he said to james that’s 3 for 1.. handicaps are great.. 😂😂
I've played many Open championship venues and other highly regarded courses in the UK, but I would put this course right at the top of my favourites list along with Brora, North Berwick, Dornoch and Deal.
What another cracking course, you really know how too pick them. Would love to come over and play some of these courses. Not sure I play well enough to keep up with the rest of the team.
Great, enjoyed that, watching it again later !. Has James been painting in those shoes ?? 1890 must have been a very productive golf course era, our course Conwy GC was also 1890.
Great vlog again guys - thought Forest Gump film had been edited in whilst playing the fourth ! 😂😂 Love this course, it’s an absolute gem but yeah …… it’s hard . Fantastic part of the world though 👍 It’s got to be on everyone’s bucket list .
Bank holiday brucey bonus (in my head it was Sunday today). Looking forward to this. A place I’d like to play (off the yellows and with cheap AD333s in the bag)
Another entertaining and really great course vlog - what is the Slope Rating of St Enedoc cos it looks a beast. Lester has such a fabulous practice swing.
Great to see Jimbo Jet back. I’ve got the same grips as him, so can I claim +3 status? Loved seeing Bernie running round the field looking for his ball before the farmer shoots him for being on his land! 🤣🤣
Absolutely one of my favourite courses in the UK. I played it a couple of times and loved it, although it’s a tough course to play your HC. Great game guys and good to see James back in the vlog. Where is Jordan? I miss Jordan’s camera work.
Ha, I thought Sally was looking doomed after Wales! Paul changes putters more often than a submariner changes socks! On a serious note, is it normal for Pro’s to swap their putters as often or is Paul just searching for “The” one?
On our bucket list. Alfie has played the Holywell course but not the church course. We have walked along it to the little church to find John Betjemens grave.
I know this sounds like a silly question. But do you guys get to chose when the adverts are shown during the video? Because when watching on TV via chrome cast it always seems to be at the worse possible time E.g. During a putt. So I see the backstroke and then it's an advert and then the result. Just wondered.
Played here with @LeeWhittakerGolf last summer. He played a blinder, me, not so much. So many blind shots, tough shots etc. Amazing course but hardest I have played in the two years since I took up golf.
The production quality on these vlogs just keeps getting better. Well done the backroom boys. Any plans to let Jordan out of his editing cell and into the daylight in the near future?
Nice to see how great golfers deal with terrible positions. I being god awful find myself in these positions on a regular basis and think I fair quite well. Obviously I can’t hit a decent shot from the fairway .. if I could I’d probably loose my scrambling skills.
James with the funniest little throwaway comment. “Dead sheep, still ewe”. Hilarious.
Excellent vid, watching it again as I'm playing St Enodoc for the first time on Monday, wish me luck!!!
Play well today Andrew 👍
@@DanHendriksenGolf Hi, I did play well actually, mostly thanks to your vid and where the best 'misses' are. We won our match and Saunton won 5:1 overall. Great day, great course, great views and good result. Many thanks
Brilliant seeing Pickard! Always enjoyed seeing him on the other Vlogs
He will be on lots more forthcoming vlogs Peter!
Good intro music chaps….v jazz club, to quote The Fast Show

Great course , great vlog , top lads to watch !
It is really hilly Scott! haha
Looking forward to the year end awards - Most improved trousers goes too ..............
Played St. Enodoc several times and without any doubt my favourite links, love the place can’t wait to go back.
Looks like an amazing course. Great having james back
Absolutely
Heard so much about St Enodoc and been looking forward to this vlog. It hasn’t disappointed. What a great course. Can’t wait for parts 2 & 3.
Love St Enodoc, only played it the once but just a great test of golf.
That’s a serious looking course. Great part 1 boys. My favourite 4 ball on the channel (sorry Gilly!!)
yes jimbo back! let's go!
Belter intro music 👌
Good to see James Pickard back playing
What a Course! What a Match! Excellent on both counts!!
Love St Enodoc, played it last summer with brother and sister in-law. The 6th is very daunting when stood on the tee and the bunker is huge when stood in it. Great vlog again.
Those first 3 holes are rock hard! Great vlog of a brilliant course.
For us mere mortals the third is a nightmare with the wall, the road, the OOB etc. You boys made it look easy.
It still caused us issues!
Golf and history !!! BOOM !! Love it !!! Good effort !!
Glad you enjoyed it
It looks an incredible course the greens are slopetastic
"Dead sheep....still ewe" Never heard that one before!

It certainly is a tough track Roland!
Great vlog to start the week. Great looking course. Good to see James back on the channel. Well played by all. Looking forward to part 2
He will on the channel lots in the future mike!
Great course again, so harsh on poor James giving shots!!
Wow, what a course! Very beautiful, but get a bit offline and its teeth come out. Great match so far.👍
Best vlog channel out there. Love the courses you guys play
Much appreciated Gregory! Thanks for watching!
What a nice track. You guys have shown me some great links courses in the UK. Just gorgeous. Thanks
Our pleasure!
Brilliant
Quality as always

Dan I have the exact same 5 Wood, my favourite wood.let me know your bid 😂 hated the 3 wood though 🤔 could never hit it off the deck.
Great match! we've had a little bit of everything, putter gate on the 3rd and a great bogey save by Bernie on the 4th.
Great vid, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Tricky course good match.
Excellent format, on a course that looks beautiful but on the tricky side of tricky. Mince running was a treat to see as were some lovely comments from Paul as in how does a man with a tour bag, with his name on it, get shots.

Can't drive past it. I live here, don't play it often but it's just great
My favourite course - I’ve been waiting for this! Can’t wait to see how you play the 10th.
great video I've been fortunate to have played st enodoc a few years ago same designer as my home course in kent.

Great vlog ,great course, and nice to see Bernie training for next year's London marathon 😃
Glad you enjoyed it Martin!
Good to see James back although very harsh making him give the pros 3 shots!
It was just banter Charlie which James took well!
Dan, you are swinging well at the moment!
Very happy currently Adam.
This is my favorite course you've done a video on. I love playing target golf courses like this.
Glad to hear it Kevin!

How do you do it boys pure class 👍😎
The 6th brought back the nigtmares 😨 A truly great course and video
Cheers for watching David!
Another great-looking links, but I cannot see me playing this one - my meagre golf skills would be no match here !
bertrums in the bush again 😆. Great to have pickard on again, what a great character
You will be seeing more of James Matt!
Great course. super vlog guys!! love it
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@DanHendriksenGolf Your course vlogs , with the good players"!!! are superb, yes I count Bernie in there, he has to get down to scratch again!!
I can understand how this course has beaten you up in the past. What a brute 😲 how well is Bernie swinging those Sub 70s 💪

Love the Cornwall course vlogs, I’m down in Perranporth on holiday in a couple of weeks and going to stash the clubs in the car!
Lots of great courses near you Drew!

About time James Pickard returned
He will be around much more in the future you will be pleased to know Chris!
Nice muzak. Nice guest. Drop the boring one and bring on more guest pairs golf ;-)
I can't drop Bernie, he's my mate!
What a course. Dare I ask how much it is to play? Looking forward to parts 2+3 👍
Here's the video I've been looking for I met u in the locker room I was the kid while u were setting everything up
Nice to meet you!
Played this course years & years ago. Just got to the 6th & recognised the bunker on the right 😂
Another entertaining and really great course vlog - what is the Slope Rating of St Enedoc cos it looks a beast. Lester has such a fabulous practice swing.
Can’t decide if the intro reminded me of Shaft or The Professionals! Great vlog - who’s Terry? 😂
Great to see Jimbo Jet back. I’ve got the same grips as him, so can I claim +3 status?

Jordan is full time editing the videos. As soon as we get him a head he will be back filing and playing.
That 6th hole is a great hole.
It's iconic!
Brutal course but love it. The naturalisation looks great as well. Tougher than St Mellion?
Different type of challenge Matthew.
Ha, I thought Sally was looking doomed after Wales! Paul changes putters more often than a submariner changes socks! On a serious note, is it normal for Pro’s to swap their putters as often or is Paul just searching for “The” one?
He only took 4 putters to France Barry! haha

“I didn’t realise you had legs under there”
Just wondering if Lester has considered a Chipper? There seems to be a lot of RUclipsr's testing them at the moment.
nice intro music
That sixth hole, crikey. Gotta know what you’re doing.
The production quality on these vlogs just keeps getting better. Well done the backroom boys. Any plans to let Jordan out of his editing cell and into the daylight in the near future?

I won't be late if I can help it.
Very tricky course, no wonder Dan says "It beats him up ", to tough for me
I think personally its the hardest in the South West Paul!
@@DanHendriksenGolf It looks harder than my home course, but the slope index is lower, suggesting it's easier 🤯
James still with covid hair and Paul still with that chip on his shoulder! 😉🤣🤦🏼♂️. Guessing it’s just an in joke.
Lester your attire has come on a good bit
What is the make and model of JimboJett’s putter, please?
It is a Yes Hannah
@@JimboJettGolf: Thanks James. Exactly what I’m looking for. Center shaft with that simple rounded shape. 👍🏻

What is going on with James shoes. Looks like he has been decorating
Fashion apparently Paul! haha
