Got a lot of potential i am 100% sure if the Developer know what they are doing this is going to be a big hit. imagine if this game turn into " STATE OF DECAY / PROJECT ZOMBOID/ DYING LIGHT/. Craft items like Minecraft and then you can make your own camp and defend if there's raiders or zombie attack just like state of decay and they going to make a lot of maps that connects just like project zomboid its okay if they do it slowly. problem with state of decay those map didnt connect you cant go to other maps. and then they put some little camps just like dying lights and some random survivors in the street or quest. i dont care if this game worth 5k i still going to buy it hahaha.
I normally don't like listening to people play, but I enjoyed this vid. You remind me of a calmer Glock9 lol
Question that maybe you can help me with. I have a 3080, which is what is recommended, but my roommate only has a 1660 super and the minimum spec is a 2060. Is this game really that demanding? Or do you think he could get away playing it?

I think the current state of the game has potential but there is definitely some updates and polishing needed we will see the love and care the developers put into the game in the next few months to see where it goes

@babganz I used to want to get it, it looks like a super buggy mess nowadays though and for how ambitious they were making it sound around the early beta days the devs have been majorly slacking in delivering what was promised

Well... it looks amazing for sure but they have some serious competition here. 7 Days to Die is an amazing game and it is out now (left the early access this year). And on the horizon looms State of Decay 3 and that one will be a Tripple AAA game, so the crown for best zombie survival game is not yet handed over to someone. 🙂 The visuals here are the best so far in the Zombie survival realm of games i have to admit.

It's crazy to think this project started like 2 years ago, by 2 people. The amount of progress they've made and amount of stuff coming in soon again is crazy. And it's not even early access yet.

@@annan9491 True, but if someone doesn't point out the flaws then most likely it will stay in the game and ruin an otherwise interesting looking game... Plus this isn't the first game where things like this doesn't make sense... look at Far Cry games or even COD games... knifes and arrows one shot most of the time, meanwhile u need 2-3 rounds of a .300 Lapua Magnum or .50 Cal rounds to kill someone... :D

The best thing about project zomboid is yhe zombies are genuinely scary and hard
From the look of this game it has HUGE potential. Hopefully the devs keep on top of improvements and bug fixes
I found this game and started playing this last night and was surprised at how good it is for a demo. On top of that, there’s only two people working on it which is honestly amazing considering how in-depth it is.
This looks really good especially the scale like size of houses and doors they got it spot on it looks slick
The amount of times you overlooked pants and just ran around pantsless after you got ran over by a golf cart had me dead 😂😂😂

This is basically 7 days to die but less zombies and more of an interactive world like the vehicles and electronics. Kinda wished 7 days to die would have implemented those mechanics into the game. But there is interactive lights you can make and vehicles you can craft. So i guess its got a bit of similarity.

OMG I laughed so hard when you died by your own golf cart running you over. Remember don't panic! This games realism is amazingly detailed and 2 people did all this. I love this game. You can put stuff in all the vehicles, that van you open the back walk in towards the cab and see an activate (E) OPEN. It's a box but doesn't have the texture or matter.
Realism ? on what a planet are you LOL
@@pattern18 I'm saying that it is cool that if you jump out of a moving vehicle it still moves, and if you have the wheel turned a car will generally still keep the direction.

The golf cart incident... i actually laughed out loud.
I am surprised the level of detail of the interiors and the map. I feel if the zombie detail was improved it would enhance the immersion considerably, after all it's the main thing about the game. Just seeing where 7 days to die came from with it's abysmal graphics and level of detail this is an amazing launch.

Hey, great video! The game looks amazing, and i love the realism incorporated in the game mechanics. For now, I'm having a hard time breaking away from the complete block control that 7 days offers, but I might give this one a try at some point. Love your streaming personality. Not cocky, not arrogant, not obnoxious, but definitely amusing and creative. I wonder if there's an actuator build mechanic and if there are NPCs in the game. Thanks for the preview.
For the night of the living dead dvd, yes that was the intro for the original movie. In fact that movie is in public domain so free for anyone to use.
Would love to see kore of this for sure. If fire alarms are in the game, might be a way to start fires and even attract them as well.

OMG THIS LOOKS SO AWESOME. FRIENDSHIP ENDED WITH PROJECT ZOMBOID, NEW FRIENDSHIP WITH VEIN! I always have hated ZOMBOID'S top down perspective and wished there was just a FPS version of it and now there is! :D

I played this game for the first time just the other day. It's incredible! My play style is really different tho, I prefer to keep moving and manage inventory as I go. My strength started at 10, and it's currently at almost 40. I'm super glad that Vein is a thing that exists tho. Really dig this reaction too. Such a funny playthrough. How did that cat food taste?

Hard to make a plausible zombie apocalypse situation. A janitor going out doing fine with a mop doesn't really sell the danger much
It's a free demo right now so don't expect too much. However from what I've seen so far there's a lot of potential and I remember the early days of a bunch of games that started off rocky and are top notch games today.

Thank you for showing us this game. I love zombie survival games! This is currently free as a demo right now, so we need to keep the developer of the game up to date with any problems with it, and i would assume they are open to ideas to make the game better. Personally i would like to be able to dig underground! I don't know if thats possible in this game!

The last game i played which was developed by a tiny independent group was (Trepang2) and boy was it good! Hopefully this one is awesome too, it has (Days Gone) X (Rust) Vibes to it....

When the alarm went off, it looked like the zombies homed in on you? Or was I mistaken? I would consider that game mechanic annoying. With PZ you can use noise as a distraction, and zombies won't attack you, unless they find see you.
Ok at first when I seen it said saranac I was like ok there is other towns with that name then when u mentioned upstate new york I was like omg a game based where I live I live in upstate new york we call it the north country here saranca is a hour from me I live in malone

man i loved Dayz just needs alot more buffs to build more and better, yeah Definitly alot of work but other then being a great running simulator lol xD
It has potential, but the game needs much more polishing before being on the status like Project Zomboid. Here are some things I would like to see:
- This game needs the constant fear factor every time you decide to step out to loot.
- It needs more realistic zombie animations as well. The zombies need to feel the impact of the weapon with every swing, not suddenly turn and sprint towards you in .4 seconds when are aren’t swinging. (Left 4 Dead has better animations still in my opinion)
- The swings are too quick especially for 2 handed weapons. It needs to slow the pace of the swings to make the player use each swing thoughtfully. Not button mashing until a zombie is dead.
Again, the game has potential, but I respect Project Zomboid too much to even put them on the same level. Once the game is more polished, then perhaps.

So much detail in the environment, but the zombies and some of the weapons still need some help. Might tempt me away from 7D2D at some point.

my current favorite game like this is 7 Days To Die, but that game is so empty, the only NPCs are stationary traders. IF this game is a little bit fun with more NPCs, then i'll buy the game. if it's just as empty as 7DTD then i'll just save my money and stick to 7DTD.
