So ive been getting a lot of stick on social media for the arches and bumpers on this van as they are worse for wear to say the least! So finally...They get painted!

For my connect I used a heat gun which bought the plastics back to black in no time and little effort

another great vid mate, this is exactly what the next step is gong to be on mine, so you just sanded primed then sprayed? did you use a clear coat after? , cheers , loz

Thanks for watching, it was a very low grade sand paper hardly even scratched the surface! Wey and dry 👍🏻
Smart mate 👌 I’m still undecided whether to do mine black or colour code the arches and handles white.
Geraint Davies cheers mate! If it were me I’d say black as I like the contrast between two colours but sometimes colour coded does look smart as well 🤷🏻♂️ 🤪

What suspension you have on it?
This was a flipped rear axle and lowering springs on the front 👍🏻

Reece Hassett Thanks mate! No they didn’t however I checked my badge and turned out it was an overlay itself, so tore it off and it had the original one underneath in good condition!! 😂🤦🏻♂️

Helllo, do you have any information on how to get it to sit like yours ? Is it just on lowering springs or do you have to do something with the leaf springs ?
Hey mate, mine had a flipped rear axle, these days you can buy lowering leaf springs to save the hassle. The front is just lowering springs too! 🙏🏼

Danny Byrne yeah mate, plastic primer and plastic paint! It held up alright done this on 2 vans now and il be honest one lasted a lot better than the other! It’s about what might have been on the plastic previously and the age/material and most importantly the prep before paint! Hope that helps mate 👍🏻
@@coswecan yeah prep is everything . I spray showertrays so I can spray and iv used rattles cans a lot of cars bikes ect never painted plastic arches tho ! . what brand did u end up using ? I'm getting lwb Nxt month for the MX bike but they all have faded plastics spesh the pre 09 models . cheers dude ;-)

How did you lower this van please
I didn’t, bought it like this. You can buy rear lowering leaf springs these days and get somebody to fit them and then just normal lowering springs on the front. Other than that Google “flipped rear axle” that’s how most people will lower a vehicle with a leaf spring rear suspension. Thanks for watching 💪🏻

Should have painted white to match :)
