Quick Metric Century after Work

It's lovely out and I'm leaving work early to ride a quick metric century 62 miles) on my favorite bike path. There was the usual onshore headwind on the way to the beach, then music and great food an Beach City Provisions.
On the way back I had a tailwind and beautiful light as the sun went down. During the last half mile under the trees I realized I had forgotten how to turn my new MagicShine front light on.
I love riding in the evening and at night, but you have to remember to take an extra layer. My daughter bought me a new Gore-Tex rain jacket and it is working out really well. It's small and light but it's rainproof and surprisingly warm. I was comfortable at 50F and I think it would be useful below 40F if I did the zipper up.
Another 60 mile ride tomorrow, this time with climbing.

Hand signals do wonders. The lady mading the no look turn was in the wrong. I can understand someone being in a zone but people are out and about with you. She needed to be more considerate.
