  • Judge Jennifer Dorow and Darrell Brooks engaged in a shouting match Friday over his interruptions and bringing up "irrelevant" matters. "You have interrupted me repeatedly. You are on the verge of being removed to that courtroom," the judge said. "I don't want to do that. I want you to stay here. But you keep interrupting me and bringing up irrelevant matters."

My old boss has NPD (narcissistic personality disorder) and it left a lasting impression on me. He never accepted responsibility for any mistakes he made. It was always someone else's fault. We would butt heads anytime he'd try to put responsibility for a mistake he made on me. Got to the point where I had to leave work once so I wouldn't become violent. After that happened I quit. I stated my reason for leaving and he showed no understanding of what I was talking about. The way he would argue against simple logic was astounding. I now work for one of his competitors. I get paid more and I'm treated with respect for a change. Whats funny is he still calls me on occasion asking if I can fill in for him if he has to take a day off cuz the two people he hired after I left can't do everything I could do that would allow him to be able to not have to be there all the time. Smh, people like that can't be reached. Their ego has gotten to the point where even faced with overwhelming evidence to the contrary, they will never admit wrongdoing.

I'm not sure that he is learning. The number of times he says "grounds" AFTER the grounds were stated. His use of the objection "heresay" was wrong time after time, after time. His goal would typically be to discredit the witnesses - which he is using the "nothing is 100%" (the idea that there is always exceptions to any "rule"). But it all falls apart with the video evidence that verifys the witnesses' statements

Bc he's already in custody. She can't exactly fine him, or have him taken into custody. She CAN however amend the charges afterwards and add contempt of court charges and have him imprisoned foe 1 year on each charge... however THAT is also irrelevant since he's looking at 6 consecutive life sentences.
