Amazon Tachometer

Install and setup of that tacho that is available on Amazon.
This one has the M and S button on the front.
This one defaults to your lawn mower or most snow blowers.
There are 3 setting available:
1P1R == 1 spark per revolution (cheap 4 stroke 1 or 2 cylinder engines),
2P1R == 2 sparks per revolution, and
1P2R == 1 spark in 2 revolutions

I tried to fit one to my mtd it would not run with conected ???

I have tried two differng ones now bouth do the same thing
Seams to rob the spark from the coil to the plug
Take the contact wire of the the plug wire and start straight up ?
I guessing it's somthing to do wigh transistor ignition on. My New MTD ride on with. Hinies engine

Seems to be fairly accurate. Put a couple screws to help hold it in place the vibration will make the adhesive fail I think.
