Owlbear Slenderman... Man, Hat's an image. Especially in tho woods, all you'd see is the clawed disproportionate silouhette and the reflective eyes. That would definately scare the shit out of you. If this doesn't get requested in the next suggeation stream, I'll be very disapointed.
Loved this video, especially the way you painted it! And now I want to play an Elf Owlbear since Elf Owls are the smallest owls in the world and the Charisma bonus would be super nice...
Trev here, i havent been able to be active while youre doing live videos since i got a new job, but i watch them after work. Anyway i just wanted to comment on your Frankenstein reference. Its not entirely wrong to refer to the monster as Frankenstein since he sees himself as the son of Dr. Frankenstein. Since he sees Dr. Frankenstein as a father to him, the monster can take the last name by default. Whats also cool is how the monster also views their relationship being the same relationship between God and adam. The monster sees himself as Adam. So since the monster was never given a proper full name, i like to give adam as the monsters full name. To me the monsters offical name should be Adam Frankenstein. ^.^
Great point. There is definitly some Merritt to the monster being named adam as well. I really do love the original book and I'm glad it got some further discussion beyond the joke :)
@@Rookzer0 Yeah back in the 10th grade i took some online classes. "Gothic Literature" for half a semester and the other half semester i took "Mythology & Folklore" I dont remember much, but just some basics. I had to read the whole Frankenstein novel plus other novels for Gothic Literature
I actually play a Necromancer Owlbear who was raised by a Goblin actually quite fun to play , great art btw
Check out my video on undead if you haven't. nothing better except for maybe a necromancer owlbear Lich. Let the rein of terror begin!
Owlbear seeing wizard: Are Yooooo my Creator????

According to what I learned from Myth-busters, bears can smell better than most dogs. So yeah their shnoz is pretty good
Even with the owl snoot?
I've only recently found your channel but I've never binged so many videos.
Love the art and the jokes! Now to find out how to play more dnd!
I hope you find then enjoyable and inspiring, let me know if you end up making a character based off the video
with the Awaken spell, any beast becomes a playable race!
The awaken spell is just Playing an Owlbear with extra steps.
Unfortunately, they're monstrosities rather than beasts.
In a campaign I tamed an owl bear and all we used it for was to carry our luggage.
An owlbearHop?

Yes!
Great art, never expected owlbear thought, you are really good at putting new ideas on the table for players
Thank you very much! I can't wait to see what you come up with for the next suggestion video
@@Rookzer0 oh I'm allready thinking about it
So, if I played a Kaepora Gaebora owlbear as a bard, could my "words" charm someone into becoming trapped in a never ending text loop?
Only if the great fairy allows it
Please.
Who?
Lol... Touche`
Underrated joke, this deserves way more likes!
