You know, looking back at the older videos I remember Tulok mentioning points in his builds where he thinks the character is done but still wants to go to lvl 20 to finish it up. I would love to have that come back like maybe a different colored text box to signal when he reaches the 'lvl is a good stopping point'. Just saying as I have yet to play a lvl 20 campaign but would love to play one of these characters that feels like the character at lower levels. Maybe I'm just rambling and of this is done through Patreon I retract my request.
I think that's tough, because not every character is going to have that point to easily call out, and for the ones that do, it'd be at different places. Some characters and builds are better and more fleshed out at lower levels, and some rely on higher-level class features or spells. Difficult to reliably codify, essentially.
Yeah, I'm always going through the build to see when it's good enough. Some times it takes all 20 levels, but often you can "pull out" at around 12. The more powerful the build, the more levels you'll need to complete it. Anything with stoneskin, hill giant rune, or winged boots is going to require 7-10 levels in one class just to get that one ability. Barbarian builds give you resistances but prevent you from accessing other magical powers because you can't cast spells.
I was expecting Swarmkeeper Ranger and Armorer Artificer The suit she wears could be considered Light and thus Infiltrator would work along with the lightning blasts from her gauntlets Enlarge/Reduce is also an Artificer spell and can be casted a limited number of times just like how both Wasp and Ant-Man have a limited number of Pym Particles on their person The only things Ranger/Artificer don't have is Druidic and Wild Shape
