- In an afternoon, I made a boss for my platformer rage game that tries to predict your movement and kill with. In this video we make a game, specifically "Will You Snail". Jonas Tyroller, the developer of Will You Snail is to blame for the title. The boss added a lot more to the video game than I thought it would, so the boss fight ended up flooding in to every other part of the game.

All I had to do was sacrifice quality. Small price to pay imo. I feel like he totally could have made his whole game in a few weeks if he just gave up making "quality". Who needs that anyhow. 😅

Having a boss at the end felt like a proper ending to the game, where as before it just ended suddenly at lvl 3. 🤔

great video as always. what method do you use to make your sprite do that wobble? been trying to do it myself with rotate but i don't think that's how you did it?
What engine are you using?
I use GDevelop, I tweaked an object shake extension to get that effect whenever the character is moving.
It basically "shakes" in all directions based on a pattern, and I just turned down shake in the X and Y axis. 😅

For my pixel art I use aseprite.
And for larger projects, like my thumbnails, I use use gimp.
Sir I have a problem . I make a platformer game .It has left_buttom right_buttom and jump_buttom inside.but , After exporting the game, when installing on mobile, I am not pressing jump buttom, but the player is still jumping autometically. Sir please tell me the solution ?
Did you deactivate movement of the virtual cursor?
The new platformer example game has mobile controls. You can open that up and see how it works. The link in the description of the first video I think.

What application do you use to make the 2d characters?
I use Aseprite mostly for my pixel art. 👍
And gimp for anything with a higher resolution.

Are you using the W or UP key to jump?
I normally use space, but I actually found that way easier for some reason in this game. 🤔
Its fun but very hard
I just put a new score on the new leaderboard, and it is WAY worse than my last score on the old leaderboard. 😅
