I was there yesterday. We just moved here a couple weeks ago and had to get a membership. we had Sams but transferred it to our son who still lives in Utah. A lot of fruits and veggies were cheaper at Wal Mart yesterday. I always here about how a lot of the fruits and veggies aren't as fresh in AK but compared to UT, they are top notch at all stores here.

I feel your pain when shopping in a different location of your favorite store. Here in Birmingham we shop frequently at our nearest Publix but when I’m in a different part of town and shop at a different Publix I always feel like such a traitor.

I had those types of thermos's when my son was in school. Still have then and use them. Myself and he loved them! I would warm up whatever in the morning and it was still perfect at lunch. Great for sending leftovers. He was a huge soup and pasta fan (still is at 22) so came in real handy with some peanut butter and saltine crackers to go with the soup. You might even be surprised at how often they are used outside of school also. That price is actually pretty good for 2! I probably paid close to that 15 years ago...LOL! Glad you finally found your box spring!

Same here, it’s been 65-75° in northern Minnesota! Crazy weather. Today it’s 29° and we have a wind warning. It’s deer hunting so I am sure the hunters are a little cold.
The weather has been really weird. I live in Maine and for the last two days it's been in the middle 70's! That's really weird because we should be seeing snow, but I'll take the 70's over snow any day.

Also, i agree with the appointment! I never use to go to the OBGYN because i never thought it was important only went during pregnancies.. now that i go regularly i found out i need to get tested for cancer at 24 yrs old.. so yes, make those appointments!!

We used to let my kids drink the sparkling grape juice on New Years Eve. I’d get little plastic champagne glasses and they thought they were so grown up.

Lauren, you can freeze the pomegranate seeds and then pull them out to snack on. I love to eat them right out of the freezer. You can also drink the juice! 😉

Glad you are going for your check ups. I found and was successfully treated for breast cancer after a routine mammogram. Interesting to see same products in uk and USA Costcos although I have had my husband going around and around telling him I have seen it in a video. Didn’t mention it was Alaska Costco. Happy Thanks giving to you and all the family x
if you take the seeds out the pomegranate and remove the pith you can freeze it

The Rana Italian sausage ravioli is a family favorite of ours. Very good
I love pomegranate seeds in salads with a light dressing just adds a bit more of a sweet crunch, good idea picking up the sparkling grape juice

This is awesome!! Prices are similar here in Nevada. Costco is a regular stop for us my biggest complaint is everything we love now has bioengineering 🤮 one example is,
The tortilla crusted tilapia its the bomb but now has bioengineering. Nobody here interested in becoming a robot!

My daughter last Halloween did the bat ravioli and the kids loved it , so did the adults. We have people from church come over and carve pumpkins it fun. Vaseline on your cuts will make your pumpkin last longer.Nan bread we make baby bite pizza. It was fun to make with kids and make pizza lunchables too. For the burrata cheese, I recommend slicing it up with some tomatoes and peaches (or nectarines) and then drizzling it all with balsamic glaze. So good!

This was a perfect way to spend an afternoon with you. Good thing you visited this Costco. That was a nice surprise finding the box spring. You did good with your haul. Nice variety of things. We don't have a Costco close to us. All the Sam's Clubs are within 2 hours of us in either 4 directions we go. (W, Bristol Virginia, N Bluefield West Virginia, E, Roanoke, Virginia, S, Winston-Salem, N.C.) I love raviollis & never noticed the pumpkin & bats. I thought the napkins were a little steep. Glad you got them. Never seem to have enough those. Enjoy the rest of your day. Glad Dr's. was just a follow up. High paws to Luna. High fives to the boys!

The amount you have on the counter, my Hubby and I pay about 250.00. Inflation is real. Not only is Alaska high, but then INFLATION CAME FOR A VISIT!

Funny! Until you added the mattress into the total I said the total was $398:00 Dollars. Always love your hauls! Accept for many years ago going into a place and shopping. Before they closed down. It was just all Bread and Snacks you know Twinkies cupcakes etc nothing else. Even if you had a farm, you could buy racks of bread and snacks they called pig food! And I also lived across a place called Country Kitchen where they made the bread. Big trucks would pull up with the flour and at times there would be white powdery clouds in the air. Non Toxic of course! That Costco is the only second place I've seen that much Bread! Great Video Thumbs Up
I bought the sausage ravioli along with a chicken and mozzarella ravioli that were made from the same company. Was a big hit in my house. delicious
The banana 🍌 prices= so high! Love the sausages and avocados 🥑. Growing up in Southern Ca we had 2 huge Avocado trees- miss them so much!! You kept finding awesome items. We have most here in Nashville Tn, but love seeing your face light up ☺️

He looked at me with a dumbfounded grin and said, "Yea, you're never going shopping with her... at least not with your credit card." Then he laughed, walking away, shaking his head. I always find something in your hauls that end up on my shopping list. Those Golden Kiwis are my favorite. Burrata... Yum. Those Naans are good with spinach-artichoke dip... or mini pizza bites 😋

I deseed pomegranates when they are in season and freeze them in ziplock bags use them in salads, yogurt, granola. Love them all year long. It is tedious but worth it. A good job for young men!
Besides being able to get fresh seafood year around here where I live I can also go in my neighbors yard and pick pomegranates and fresh figs
They used to have a southwest corn chowder soup. I haven't seen it in years. I miss it 😞

I don't have a Costco around my area. Closest is about 2hrs one way. Dozen eggs at Walmart range from 4.69 - 6.99. Milk, bread product way up there as well. Thankfully I have Aldi about 30 minutes away. Eggs lit $2-3, plain white sandwich bread 95 cents, 7pk plain bagels 1.99 vs Walmart 4.62. All before best buy dates.
The Ivan's Soaps, Clam Chowder & the Loaded Baked Potato are from here in Seattle, WA, USA area and have been round for many years, 😋 😀 👌
