Hey guys he DIDNT USE AUTO TUNE on his first album, but his second one which had a lot blew up and he got told overwhelming that he was nothing without it. He has been fighting since the 90’s to be allowed to sing like this. It’s a huge moment for him. Something to enjoy and celebrate.

I've always been a fan, he's a talented guy & funny, people just got caught up in the whole he's only auto-tune stuff but the whole time all he did was make good songs so...
What people don't understand is that there are different ways you can use autotune. He wasn't using it as a crutch, but rather as a vocal effect he thought well suited his voice. Back when he started doing it, he did it to be unique as back then, not many people were using autotune like that.

When I started seeing promos for the masked singer featuring The Monster my first thought was it sounded like T-Pain. But I’ve listened to this performance and the first Tiny Desk Concert more times than I can count. I’ve been telling people for years that T-Pain is an amazing and underrated singer.
