this wardrobe is beautifully coordinated adn looks fabulous on you! It really shows that having a series of lovely basics is far more important than you think. You end up with endless choices Bravo
Thanks Nancy! Sewing neutral basics has really changed my wardrobe so much! It can seem a bit boring not working with all those gorgeous prints- but its so much more wearable. Happy sewing!
Rebecca, I like the tan pants with the pleats. I love how you have coordinated the different pieces. I am trying to coordinate my wardrobe. It helps when you can match your clothing.
Du siehst in den Outfits wieder mega aus, bist eben eine wunderschöne Frau, ich wünsche dir ein tolles Wochenende und weiterhin viel Spaß, ich habe dich abonniert 🥰🥰🥰
I love the button details you added to the belt carriers on those linen pants. Those pants and that Style Arc Jacket are so, so, so cute together. Nice work! Thanks for the video!
Morning Rebecca, gosh I love your navy pant suit - you are most definitely a master sewist. It takes time to perfect trousers and particularly blazers. Such gorgeous fabrics and designs. I see you use heaps of Burda patterns. Wondering if one has to add a seam allowance with Burda or do they now include a seam allowance. I also meant to say I enjoyed seeing your Sydney travel wardrobe too. I wish we had a Stone Mountain and Daughter in Australia their fabrics look beautiful. I so look forward to your weekly vlogs they are a real treat to enjoy on a Sunday Morning. Take care and with thanks❤
Thanks so much Francesca! The Burda magazine patterns are all nested with no seam allowance and you have to trace them off which is a bit of a hassle. If you purchase the pdf's individually from the site some do have seam allowance added but you usually do need to still add it. I usually don't mind that since I draft a lot and am used to it- plus I can then use my preferred smaller seam allowances. I'm jealous of some of the beautiful shops you have there! Thanks again-happy sewing!
Thanks Deborah! I will say this dress would be much easier to sew in something crisp like a voile or lawn- my fabric was very difficult to work with since it didn't hold the pleats well- even with a pretreatment. Next version I make will be lengthened just a bit. It's really too short for me to be comfortable wearing as a dress unless I'm wearing tights. I love all the details and can't wait to make another!
Good luck with the job searching, you should nail it! Just out of curiosity, what sewing machine do you have? You sew a lot, so your machine must be a good one🙂 Beautiful wardrobe too
Thanks Cindy! I have a Janome Sewist 721. I love it! It's relatively simple- it has just 19 stitches- but it comes with a 4 step button hole feature which is fantastic! Happy sewing!
Thanks Angie! I do miss wearing that kind of clothing (I grew up in NJ and used to live in WI). The coldest it gets here is in the 50's- so you'll rarely see that on my channel unless I'm traveling. Happy sewing!
Thank you for taking the time and effort to put these inspiration vlogs together. I always looks forward to them.
Thanks Theresa! I'm so glad you find them inspiring! Happy sewing!

Thanks Vanessa! That's one of the reasons I try to buy enough yardage for multiple pieces or coordinating colors. Happy sewing!
Everyone in this autumn wardrobe is so elegant and chic, and looks expensive. Well done!
Thanks so much Belinda!

Thanks Rebecca! I’ve had that exact pattern of Anna Sui for many years and could never figure out what fabric to use and especially how to style it.
