    That's Adam Armijo, a fantastic guitarist based in Phoenix, AZ doing the playing. Your playing continues to inspire Adam.

    Gretsch’s videos are so far ahead of another other guitar brand. Visually striking. Great playing. And catchy tunes.

      They used Filtertrons - these are Humbuckers (Broadtrons). Find Filtertrons in the Electromatic series.

    Hello. want to ask. Why is the Gretsch FSR G2627T streamliner not included on the official Gretsch site? Is this product not updated yet? is the G2627T official? Why is the market selling original products from Gretsch in this series?

      Sounds like a subtle tremolo with a low depth and medium'ish speed. Very mild overdrive too with the treble turned up a bit.

    Hey are they there own company or are they in the same distrubution as fender like squire ?

    • @Little960
      @Little960 Год назад +2

      The way I understand it is that Gretsch is it's own company and Fender only have the distribution rights.

    • @Sonnypaul1
      @Sonnypaul1 Год назад +3

      In late 2002, Gretsch and the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation reached an agreement giving Fender control over marketing, production, and distribution of guitars, with the Gretsch family retaining ownership of the company.

    So different to the '60s Gretsch sound, just sayin'.

      My observation is that the slapback reverb is being promoted less frequently - I see that as a good thing, as I reckon Gretschs are more versatile than just that. Are you thinking more of the base tone of the guitar? Keen to hear more of your impressions. My ears really love the ‘air’ in the early Filter’Trons, but my ears have a few decades up on them!

      'That Great Gretsch Sound' was a justified claim, so different from Fender, not necessarily better, The Beatles sounded so different to what we were used too, a fatter, deeper, richer sound. Now it's all fuzz and effects and sound similar, just like modern cars, they've lost individuality, just my opinion, to each his 🤔😀Cheers!
