Don't stress. It is not uncommon for the leaves to do this in the fall. I have noticed this on several of my fruit trees each year and all of my trees survived. I would say over watering, under watering, or even disease can technically cause the yellowing of leaves. Unfortunately, if this is the case you just have to trouble shoot.
I know it gets hot in Florida, but I’m not sure if it’s ever been that hot. We have had some pretty hot days down here though and my tree has not been affected. The biggest issue with this tree is frost exposure. Planting this tree in zone 9 is fine as long as there is limited cold weather exposure (especially frost), but it can be planted in zone 10 and 11.
I love this fruit ,greetings from Indonesia
Wow, you are across the globe;) we also enjoy this fruit. Thank you so much for watching❤️👩🌾
