Legit what is it with Newies and having such handsome guys? I feel like the tour cast is more the age range than the Broadway cast, even if there were some high school seniors in the ensemble.

After hearing him sing "Seize the Day" I told my mom that Jacob Kemp's voice was like listening to Josh Groban sing, but now I don't even know what to compare his voice to. Wow! What a range.

Me too! I saw Jacob in his second to last show, and the whole time, my mom and aunt were comparing him to Josh Groban. I think Jacob is more classically trained than Dan...idk for sure.
Mikayla Jacobs I have to agree, Dan is very Broadway and while that's certainly good for Newsies, when he strains to hit a note, you can really tell. And Jacob just seemed much more fluid with his singing, if that makes any sense.
