Was thinking of doing that to mine but seems like a head ache lol I'll keep my F150 might just upgrade shocks and CV axles don't really go off-road but i like the look on ur truck
Looking at doing an F150 to raptor conversion, just the suspension. Did you have to relocate your leaf spring hangers to be able to bolt in the raptor leaf springs?
@@NSQGarage I've looked high and low for rear axle, but no luck there. As for besides I haven't got any either. Still working on the rear swap since I have to actually cut and move hangers to use raptor leafs.
@@evenflo75 oh interesting. I'm about to order the fiberglass. Shipping is going to kill me. I will run wheel spacers temporarily until I can find a rear axle for a reasonable price
If you are just driving around town, I would think so you would be alright. You might have issues off roading because they are so much longer and will fully compress earlier than the gen 1 shocks.
the front end is widened with longer control arms. i eventually opted to put on wheel spacers to give me more track width as a temporary solution until I can purchase a raptor axle. however, many guys seem to run wheel spacers with no problems.
It's definitely tight. But no rubbing yet. Admittedly I have not tested it much as it's been on jack stands. And if it does rub, it's just the plastic guard
@@NSQGarage Any downside to not changing leaf springs other than loss of travel? What about the shock mounts? Heard of some people having to relocate them and reinforce them as well.
The brackets khc makes for the gen 2 conversion in the rear allow you to use full cycle of your shocks. You don’t utilize wheel travel with stock location.
Excited for this. Been looking at doing the same things myself
Stoked for the dealer video. I want some for my truck

Nope they fit right in. If I remember right, the shackles were the exact same too.
I got the entire set up for my 11th gen for about 1500 plus another 500 for wider front fenders.
Oh very nice! Any luck with rear axle or bedsides?!

@@NSQGarage yea I don't live far from advanced fiberglass even so shipping was going to be a lot. I am going to run hub centric spacers as well
@@evenflo75 southern California is definitely the place to get parts for this stuff though!
I wonder if this will work the same on my 2011 f150 4x but for front fox coilover from a Raptor ...direct bolt on?
You mean on the front suspension? I don't think it really works. You need the raptor control arms
Would these shocks work with stock 2.5inch blocks

@@NSQGarage thanks for the quick reply think I’m going to try it out he’s only asking $75
Awesome build man! What the grill and where can I find it? It looks so sick! Thanks man!
The grill is just an oem FX4 grill with some aluminum mesh behind it
@@NSQGarage thank you very much.
You didnt like the Icons? Is the raptor set up better?
icons were great and were a great all-around system. i was just lookin for more travel. the icons are still available if you are interested lol
What mud flaps are those?
I believe they were universal rally armor mud flaps
Do you think those gen 2 shocks would fit on my 2012 f150?
They should bolt right up. But I would make sure you add height with springs or blocks to make sure you arent bottoming out the shock
Yes, I them on my 2012 f150 3.5
Does this also widen the track width? Or is your front track width more than the back?

Where did you buy bump stop kit
It's an ADD kit that I got for a steal in Alaska. It was missing some parts but all the major stuff was there!
Are you going to sell the Icon/other parts to help offset the costs for the project?
You know it! I will be sure to include the income from that in the final summary
How do you deal with the Leaf spring rubbing the shock?

@@Ballen9494 the ride would be a little stiffer. It would honestly probably be better on the highway. It's pretty soft with the raptor springs.
