Good that you are open about wearing first copy shoes. I have a few original shoes like Ultraboost All terrain and Jordan 1 that I bought when onsite in Germany. However, after coming back, I found very less options here and purchased a first copy shoe online. Although it looked good, it was no where as comfortable as an original shoe and I stopped wearing it. Then I noticed a few stores that sell original shoes but in limited sizes for 60-70% discount. Bought an Adidas Deerupt from them and it turned out nice and original. Now in the lookout for the shoes that I like in my size and whenever I buy them from such stores! 😊
Yes obviously these shoes won't match the quality of the originals because of the massive price difference. But you get what you pay for. And it your personal preference if you strictly want to wear originals. I can wear both, I don't mind.

Air Force 1s and Adidas superstars are my favourites. The prices are not crazy and they look good. If you think AJ1 is nice but can't afford to buy the original, I'd recommend the Nike Court Visions - it's pretty cheap, not bad looking at all and the price is very reasonable for an original..i think it's better than buying a copy that doesn't even feel good on the feet and that will not last you very long

3 years ago, I bought for first time a Nike copy shoe and a copy of Fossil watch....then I realised that I had wasted my money for just showoff. Then I realised that buying a low budget Indian brand product is more reliable, sensible than buying any copy product of Foreign brand 😎

TBH , You may buy first copy shoes but when you go out people know if you can afford it by seeing your other attributes such as dressing , body language etc. Its better to be original to yourself rather than running after clout. Running after clout will just make you feel empty and dissatisfied at the end of the day. I personally own Kyries , Jordans , alphaboost etc and i can easily distinguish between a fake and a real piece in seconds. So , the people who actually know about these shoes will tell its a fake 8/10 times. Also for 2500 there are way better shoes available in adidas and Nike only.

there is a happy medium between buying originals and buying reps. If i am buying new shoes for under 15k i go for the original, but at the same time i cannot buy 35k-40k shoes every other month. if nike did not create this hype culture i would get more originals but rn i just like getting air force 1 reps and customising them. pretty cool as once customised noone can tell if its rep or not. Even Nike manufactures these shoes in Vietnam, Indonesia, China, etc, same as the replica industry and we all know in what conditions a laborer works in Asia irrespective of brand... Nike manufactures these shoes in south east Asia region just because the labor is cheap which is because of the quality of living in these countries, if they were so concerned about human rights, labor laws, or environmental laws they'd never set up a manufacturing plant or their supply chain outside the USA or the Europe coz of strict laws and a labor class American or European will have rights and can raise his/hers voice and there will be repercussions (even political sometimes) which can land these brands in really big legal troubles.

These cheap copies have lowered the value for original shoes which is really sad. I personally feel we shouldn't promote any fake or counterfeit products but this is India after all. Most of these companies including Nike have started manufacturing shoes in India and if onw can't afford the expensive ones, they should rather buy the budget options all brands provide today. This way you get better quality shoes with similar branding. It's stupid when people buy fakes and say they are into the sneaker culture. That is definitely not the culture. Rather buy cheaper branded shoes till you can afford the expensive ones.

Nike doesn't make them in their own factory they just hire company where they can have low labour pay and the workers there gets somehow the exact pay as in any other fake manufacturing companies. Btw it almost seems like the first copies you bought may have been made in same/similar factories as they seem to reflect the probable cost price of the actual shoes minus the R&D, Marketing etc.

Stop looking down on people buying reps. I can tell your dad has loads of money to support you to buy og jordans but not everyone has it. So that I have a pair of good looking shoes .. in a good price .. coming to sports performance , i don't wear fake Nikes to play football bcz the prices are still decent that means i can still buy a good pair for 2-4k ... The thing abt Air Jordans , these aren't the same shoes made to play basketball back in those days .. they made a seperate one for the public to wear ..
