Awesome Jereon, got to love the Badgers, we’ve got a few great sites at home and in our woodland. Will be spending some time with them next spring👍. Nice work mate. Cheers R 👍
Great stuff Jeroen! I love to see both the European Badger and the North American Badger. I hope to have a chance to photograph them someday! Thanks for bringing us along!
Lovely. Another grest vlog. Only seen wild bagers once and then only for a few moments Got a couple of pics but late in the evening. Thanks for the tips and tricks' keep doing your thing. Robin
Hi Jeroen, that first sett you were at looks a very difficult one to work. Long setts can be a right pain to predict where the badgers will appear and it looked as though the sett was located with a ditch between two hedges(?) which makes it even more difficult. Those freshly turned out entrances on the bank with mainly grass around them looked a likely spot to get some images. Perhaps a few visits and a little judicious placement of a few peanuts would tempt them to exit from those holes? Anyway, best of luck. I'm certain that if anyone can get some pics there, it will be you.
I am afraid there is too much human activity there for them to come out early... Badgers already come out just after sunset here. But the more activity close by from us, the later they come. Too dark for photography I'm afraid... In a few weeks I will have vlogs from Belgium with more badger photography luck!
Super presentation! I really enjoyed the badgers and have over 1000 hours this year in my hide observing and photographing them. Keep up the good work!
Excellent Jeroen, and as you say just wonderful to see them even if you could not photograph. I have yet to see or photograph badger so look forward to the day when I do. Cheers Keith
Do you have badgers near you Keith? You have muntjac! Gosh I would love to photograph a muntjac some day... Maybe I should come visit you some time... :)
Ah, like here. Mostly they come above ground when it's way too dark to photograph them... This time I was lucky in that regard, but where they popped up was quite useless :)

I have been working with badgers for so many years. Love them! Soon a vlog with better photos :)
Great video again Jeroen. What a subject. Still haven't found my badgers.
Keep looking around Steve... Eventually.... They might have bigger territory over there as well?

Yes Jeroen we have Badgers and I know of a couple of sets but rare to see them out in daylight. We have loads of Muntjac though. Saw one this morning.

Lovely film Jeroen, in the UK we have to appreciate our Badgers even more at the moment. Take care.
Not everyone loves badgers here either Stewart... So bad, lovely animals they are...
Really enjoyed watching this and it was posted a few minutes before I came from doing some bird photography
