We had a *family* oriented company staff. The Series Guns was not only a recruit lover but brought his family to the main events. I worked for said SSgt when I was a green belt and I had to destroy the 'cruits behind his back because he was a liberal as far as training went!
stock army pugil sticks were originally made of 40" pvc pipe, but these look sturdier. i'd say they were probably hickory, with the requisite foam ends.
Just got a letter today from my boyfriend who mentioned this in his letter. He said that if you know out a mouth piece then you get a phone call home. That seems nearly impossible to me since they have those helmets on haha
