Even though yes, the writers did Rory so dirty from s5 onwards (revival especially), and Jess was by the end actually too good for her, let's not forget that he wouldn't be too good for her if it wasn't for her in the first place. She believed in him before anyone else did and he believed in her when no one else would. She made him a better person and he changed her, too. I am feeling an emotion 🥺
I feel like the show coming full circle at the end closed also the circle of them constantly missing each other and they were finally on the same page - both doing jobs they are passionate about, being on the right path, Rory having to deal with responsibility of having a child and Jess having his shit together and being able to support her.
It was obvious the revival was set up for Jess to become Rory's Luke. So even if we never get to see it, that's the story, and anything else is unacceptable :) :)

This is SO beautiful and amazing! They're my #1 OTP of all time, I'm rewatching the show right now actually for the first time since the show originally ended in 2007 - never rewatched even before the revival!! - and I love all of Lewis Capaldi's music and... I just love how you matched the lyrics in this and the coloring and all the zooming on all the clips makes it flow so extra beautifully and everything about this is great.

Same!! Literati is my number 1 OTP of all time too!! That's so crazy how you are only rewatching the show now, I always watch the episodes with Jess and Rory then start back over, but I only watched the whole thing once, I just skip around a lot, I get bored through the Logan years!

I'm so glad I'm subbed to you. Your videos are lovely. This was no exception! And I wholeheartedly agree with what you said in your description. I'll be forever pissed at the writers for destroying Rory's character, but we cannot forget that she was the one who inspired Jess, and it's so fitting that of course he was the one to get her back on track (in s6 and in the revival). You did a brilliant job of showing that! Awesome job!
