I had been hesitant to make this vid because there are already a couple of R/J vids to this song, but I just could not shake this very specific vision I had, please forgive!! I'm not sure how the final product will translate to everyone else - and it's not even all in perfect, reverse chronological order - but I enjoyed making it! With that being said, I am tired of rendering this lmao

I think that is a perfect idea for them. Their reverse story is kinda like doing a literal "the scientist" idea, showing where they were and going back to the start. I feel like it makes them even more heartbreaking if that makes sense. This is beautiful and so well done 💜

ahhh i've been so emotional over them lately this is perfect
their story is so so bittersweet but the revival kind of left things opened... I mean jess longing, their friendship, them being bound to see each other a lot.... in a way they could fit luke & lorelai's story but I don't know how good that would be story telling wise...
I know what you mean! The revival certainly has its faults but I do like the foundation it sets for a second-chance, friends-to-lovers romance between these two because, like you say, they're bound to see each other a lot and Rory even says to Lorelai that her relationships will be included in her book. I actually really love their dynamic of first it was Jess who was on the hot mess express and now that he's off it, Rory is on the hot mess express because the drama of it all!!!!! Yeah, with the Luke/Lorelai parallels I can loosely see the similarities but the circumstances of both relationships are quite different, so I can't imagine the story would unfold in the same way.

I was so disappointed that Jess wasn’t in some seasons
Apparently he was supposed to be in the series finale but the actors that played Rory and Jess has just gone through a really nasty breakup in real life and we’re refusing to work together
@@goosebabyj They did break up around that time but he turned it down before they broke up irl, he didn't want to come back because they changed writers and because he was on that show Heroes so he couldn't but that was just a contributing factor but it was not because they were refusing to work with each other, they are still on good terms even until this day, and always talk good about each other, they were also very private about their relationship, but he didn't want to do the show without ASP writing it, and I'm kind of glad he didn't in a way because I'm afraid the new writers would have messed with his character development, but I think if ASP had done season 7 he definitely would have come back at least here and there, but that's the actual reason he didn't want to come back, their breakup just added to that!
