Im confused which part of the thermal pad goes on the SSD drive ?
It would go on the side with the chips. One side “should” be mostly flat (the back side) and the other should have some memory chips and memory controllers.

If you remove the factory sticker, you void your warranty. I bought this drive but I bought a separate better heat sink with fins as the one they give is pretty cheesy.

The cheapest SSD memory on the market
Its probably not your fault that your video crapped out on you. But your skipping of steps or your lack of showing the process of doing it made your instructions real bad and you probably shouldn't had put the video up especially the most important part on how to do the heatsink but you were thinking of getting views instead of really helping people.
I’m sorry you didn’t find the video helpful. I actually demonstrate step by step how to apply the heatsink, just with the caveat that the heatsink was already in place so I used the other parts to demonstrate.
Besides that, the main purpose of this video is to demonstrate how to install any ssd into a PS5, not just the specific manufacturer. And in that, I believe I have helped many people.
