    Good review, I share your opinion. I'll continue with my psr. That said, the rebranded MDT bipod that also allows the user to change the width of the legs has my attention...

    I got a gen 2 accutac br4, $252 shipped. I love it. The warne looks nice but it does everything the accutac does. Even has the same style leg extension/release mech

    Picked up one of these 2 weeks ago for $260. It is a fantastic bipod it's heavy but it's solid. I don't think it's worth MSRP but I don't think you can beat it for the sub $300 bracket.

    Knights makes a Harris adapter that tilts and pans. It replaces the entire saddle mount making it even lighter.

    If you want to fully collapse the bipod instead of one at a time you can do this by holding down then pushing up and the legs will shoot right up.

    I got excited thinking maybe it didn't have pan. Pan is the stupidest feature a bipod could have. By the time you need to pan,your npoa is compromised

      @duckslayer11000 5 лет назад +1

      True, unless you have 90 sec. to fire 10 shots at 5 targets at varying ranges like in a PRS comp. which is what this channel is aimed at.

    There is a problem with most bipods, that is, no middle position. If shooting from the bench, you are either too high or too low; Caldwell Lead slide.

    Let me get this straight.... the warne is more expensive???? And is considered a close second to the atlas??? The guys over at warne might wanna rethink that one!

  • @anthonyworthington6495

    Iam not being a troll,but what does it matter what it does, as long as it holds the rifle up🤷

    • @PrecisionRifleNetwork
      @PrecisionRifleNetwork  2 года назад +1

      I don’t think its only job is to prop up a rifle. How does it connect? What about the stability triangle? How quickly can adjustments be made? Is it intuitive or will it take some learning to get efficient with? Can the legs be adjusted independently? Picatinny or arca swiss and why? Etc. etc.

  • @--RSL--

    dude if warne just drops price ppl would buy theirs. these damn things dont cost that much to make... cmon. sell MORE by dropping price under atlas... shit id buy more nice bipods if they wernt 300. whats better, some guy like me paying 200 - 250 X5 or over 300 once and just swapping from rifle to rifle? its a no brainer.

  • @nohandle000
    @nohandle000 5 лет назад

    Not a knock on the Atlas or Warne bipods but besides being able to angle the legs 45 forward or back i dont see a reason to not get a Harris for a third of the price.

    • @Pro2ndAmnd
      @Pro2ndAmnd 5 лет назад

      The angled legs are the main reason I bought an Atlas. You’d be surprised at how much more support you have with the different angles on uneven terrain. The Atlas might be a little lighter in weight, too.

    this bipod should be compared to the Accu Tac bipod not the Altlas bipods.
    the method for extending and retracting the legs is identical to the Accu Tac bipods.
    PS: it only had 3 positions for the legs not 4 as 4 positions is a patent by Atlas
