My local shop just got the skypod in stock and I was able to play with it a bit. I like the feel and function of it. The buttons are easy to press nothing seemed hard to manipulate into position. I haven’t tried it on a rifle yet waiting till Somone else buys one to try it lol but I can see why more people are getting one.
The Hatch Out West bipod is an amazing bipod I found while at the Western hunting expo in Utah. It’s one I would love to see you review. After I bought one my dad and a family friend both got one for themselves.
Really can't go wrong with the GRND POD with the ARMS 17 connector. I added the RRS BTC-PRO Clamp and can use it with both PIC rails and Arca Swiss. A side note...To get rid of the minimal slop, use a 3mm hex key and tighten the bolt on each leg a 1/4 turn.
I use an Oryx bipod on an Oryx chassis, mounted with a 26” barrel, Rem 700. Almost everything except the barrel is aftermarket or custom. Bolt face machined and firing pin bushing by Greg Tannel (GreTan Rifles). Timney Calvin Elite trigger, Tactical bolt handle by Rodney Richard’s. It consistently shoots .75 or less at 100 and 2” or less at 200.
Good review, focus on purpose intent to match bipod to use. One comment about shooting magnum and causing shift on arca rail, there are arca rails and matching arca clamps that have locking mechanisms, such as Really Right Stuff (RRS) where their clamp has a 5mm pin to lock the clamp/bipod into a corresponding hole on bottom of the rail system as seen on one of your chassis when you were pointing out arca rail. Area419 as a different lock system (on the side of rail) for same purpose. I would choose that over a semi-permanent M-Lok mounting solution to maintain greatest flexibility and feature set. Thanks for the review of MDT bipod offerings.
I'll get crucified for this, but I shoot a 6mm Creedmoor RPR custom shop on a BZTAC sling swivel bipod and an ARCA rail adapter. It's all metal, tilt and swivel with "S" lock. Extendable from 6" to 9", very solid and set me back $27 for the bipod and $40 for the adapter. Love it. Transitions from right to left without having to skid the bipod is priceless and of course tilt is mandatory.
I love your simple explanations! They work for me! Now I can be happy sticking with my Harris bipods. Good enough for the girls I go out with (Heh Heh Heh...) Peace Be The Journey!
DO NOT BUY! Absolutely dishonest review! I bought Oryx based on this review and found it totally flimsy and rubbish quality! Any of my $20 Amazon knokoffs are far sturdier than this bipod. You lost a subscriber.
Would love to see a review/comparison on the Odin Works Prism bipod.

Thank you I had to watch 35 videos before I found yours now I get it and I appreciate it
Big fan of the double pull. I run it on my 300wsm hunting in the mountains. Definitely worth the weight
😂 the cost of this ckye bipods - gimme a break better off paying for a skirt and child support
😂 When a bipod is more expensive than one of your best chassis there’s a problem lol
We need a Sig cross magnum and Sig cross magnum sawtooth review on the backfire channel.

Good options, Thank you.
Wonder who his sponsor is?
Can you still use your sling on the hunting rifle with any of the three bipods.

Cant attach a sling to the Oryx. 😢
Do they not make the a ground pod with a sling swivel attachment option.
Harris is the OG for a reason
The ckye-pod heavy-duty is the best bipod I've ever used.
I really love my Hatch bypod.
Is a bipod you tried, now a trypod???🧐🤔😂
Thank You Korean People. You restore my faith in humanity. Thank You for fighting evil back.
Was wondering what’s your opinion on the mdt hunter 26 chassis I have been thinking about getting one for my backcountry riffle
I really like it for lighter recoiling cartridges. I tried it in a 7 PRC and it feels a little unwieldy.
Been watching TPH for content ideas?
What's TPH?
Super helpful!!
Is the heavy version worth it?
Anyone else experiencing their arca GRND POD moving when tight
They need a super lite triple pod made from carbon fiber.
I just bought a cyke pod for my Bergara 7PRC. It's super expense, but super nice.
Great information
Spartan Javelin Pro FTW
I have the skye pod on 2 rifles to me its worth the money buy once cry once
I live my grnd pod, shrank my groups by .2 on average at 100 yards.
I love my grnd pod.
try accu-tac
Ckypod all the way, its not for every budget but for mine its awesome. Only people who've never used a Ckyepod dont like them lol
The GRND pod is way too rickety to cost $200
Polymer may not do well in very cold weather.
I am not impressed with the Ckye Pod especially with it's price.
You were more objective years ago. I feel the sponsors have influenced your opinions
Check out Backlandz
Accu-Tac outshines them all.

Evolution bipods. The End.
