People used to understand that the Democrat Party--especially in the northeast and Chicago--were a front for organized crime, including mafia and Latin American drug cartels. Now young people are shocked to hear such a thing because media, government schools, and Marxist college professors have buried that history, creating an artificial generational divide.

Very good report. In my experience this is very true, and I think democrats forget that many Hispanic Americans are deeply Catholic and deeply family-oriented. Yes, they largely want more liberal immigration laws, but it’s not necessarily the top issue anymore. Economic and family policy issues have become more important, and the Republican Party is much more tuned into this. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party is essentially deriving all its policies from the wishes of college students. They’re really going to lose big this way, in my opinion.

These people aren't Hispanic anymore they're Americans, that's what's happening here, these are people who's great, great, great, grandparents were outsiders, these are people who left the Catholic Church for the white church, these are people who left their flags for the stripes and stars, these are people who stopped marrying Indians and Spanish people to marry people from New England, these are people who stopped speaking Spanish and now speak English and the fact that want to make new comers suffer through everything their forefathers have suffered through is scary. We've been here before, we've seen this happen before when the Texanos and Californianos asked the US government to expell us back to Mexico regardless of our status as citizens. Yeah, maybe the need to be white is rotting our communities heads. It’s so annoying. However it is important that not every Latinx person is BIPOC. the lady talking is BIPOC but many others are not. Also it depends on the area, in this specific area, Latinx people are often much more Americanized and more likely to “be white” or think that they are going to have white privilege. The sad thing about it tho is that they are people who believe in themselves that they will be free from racism when that is not the reality.
