Parallel compression allows you to blend the compressed signal with the dry signal, whereas bus compression you are affecting the main signal. Parallel compression adds more depth to your sound.
Absolutely! With the micro i could only guess on the small display screen. If you adjust the parameter it should display on your controller, at least that is how it works on my Maschine studio
Yo new here I have a mikro and you already helped me with 3 things your the shit bro I would like to know how to make my drums bounce like and have the sound of pop smokes Dior can you help me with this your detail is sharp I learned so much from the small stuff you showed
Thank You ! Yeah i''m going to be releasing more beat breakdowns and tutorials so stay tuned for that. Also consider checking out my course on Maschine Here bit.ly/38j7vPy
Fo shizzle young Fizzle. Didn’t know parallel used the compressed signal AND the original signal ( 2 of the same signal (or) the same signal twice). Never found a reason to use NY compression but I get it now! I’m in. Oh yeah... Love that you still use Maschine Studio! I’ll never give mine up. Till they make a controller that knocks it out the box. But they ain’t made one yet!!! I mean what “can’t” a studio do? Audio inputs are not a game changer (as nigas have discovered but won’t cop to).
On Maschine Studio, as i turn the rotary knob i am able to see the the integers that are displayed on the screen. The Mk3 should have a display as well so you can see the integers. Remember as you turn the dial keep an eye on the controller.
Thank you
You're welcome !
whats the difference with parallel compresion and normal bus compression?
Parallel compression allows you to blend the compressed signal with the dry signal, whereas bus compression you are affecting the main signal. Parallel compression adds more depth to your sound.
You the man...bro!!!...Appreciate that. Keep 'em coming. 👍😎

Nice !
Great videos man, just wanted to ask whats the 808?
